If you were at C&C last weekend there's no way you missed the Enzo that rolled up. Search around and you will find tons more pics than the ones I took which you can happily find here:

Owner was very patient with the ten thousand questions we asked. For anyone that hasn't seen one in person, it's overwhelming. It has a presence like no other.

Before I realized it I took over 100 photos and had been staring for about a half hour :)

    Enjoy!

First time at Katie's this year. Just as I remember it...LOTS of cars!!! There had to be over at least 200 cars there. I was surprised to see the Farmer's Market gone. As I left, I found that they actually moved it down the street.

It was great seeing so many friends there. I was talking so much I didn't get a chance to take that many photos. The ones I did were of Ferrari's, old and new Lamborghini's and a couple of corvettes.

The main reason for me attending Katie's today is because my friend (and fellow FChatter) just bought a new car and brought it out for the first time. It's the Nart Blue Ferrari 599 GTB.

    Enjoy the pics!!

    Hey Bill,

Nice to see you again. And yes, your friend's 599 was gorgeous and sounded great! I had a fun time as well. There's an SVP at Discovery that bought a 59 Alfa Gullietta Spider Veloce at the Amelia Island auction. Wayne Carini and Keith Martin both told him that it was one to buy. So this Alfa has been sitting in the garage since the auction, rarely if ever driven. When I was walking him around my car show on Wednesday. So I got to talking to him about the Alfa and how it needs to be driven. He travels so so much he doesn't have time. So he came to my anticipated conclusion, "Why don't you drive it for me?" Friday he handed me the keys.

The brakes need to be adjusted and I need to check the rear fluid level, but other then that, what a fun car! To show the depth of the Katie's gathering, a 58 Alfa pulled in right behind me. I learned a bunch about the car from the owner. We're going to get her up on his lift to adjust and tinker.

The seats are actually Daytonas from a 550, complete with carbon fiber trim !

Can I ask what else is done to the car? Seems it would have to be something pretty special to get 550 seats.

It was a nice day once again for Great Falls. I had the pleasure of driving the Alfa again. I absolutely love the GT48. I first saw this insane vehicle when he showed up for my Discovery Velocity show. Incredible engineering and attention to detail.

Was that really just a modified Corvette? I assumed that car began life as something else. You did get a beautiful shot of that Cadillac though.

Its really more then a kit, you supply a c5 Vette and they do all the rest. Just look at the windshield and the back window.

The only one of these that looked really good were the 50th anniversary specials that Steven Pastiner designed for GM. They passed on the design for the 50th anniversary so he took the molds back and started building them for customers. A buddy of mine had 2 of them. The 99 with a hurst 6 speed is the one that I drove extensively. I thought it was a cool looking car.

The one at Great Falls just had too much stuff going on, especially in the back..

Thanks for showing off what I missed. Nice to see that Fisker may actually produce cars.

I am habitually disappointed when I see the Fisker of NoVa sign in front of the Ted Britt used car outlet on Rt. 50 in Fairfax. Every time I drive by I hope to see a Karma sitting on display in a nicely remodeled showroom. Instead, all I see is a cheap used car outlet. They should have waited to put up signage until they were ready. I understand the need to generate revenue but a Fisker dealership should not be sharing lot space with cheap used cars.

Do you guys expect a good turn out this week, given the holiday? I'm planning on bringing my dad up.
