see you clowns in 2 weeks :)
Certainly media tittle tattle, Lewis in the press conference just said, he just about managed to hold off the best driver in the world.
I have little doubt he will be pondering this when the time comes to extend his contract and I'm sure Mrs. Schumacher hasn't forgotten the big crashes either. That said, I hope he stays for 2013 and gets at least one year of the new regs...
See YOU on the private Airbus to Phoenix...drinks on me...and none of that fruity podium faux champagne.
While their rivalry was bitter at times, I think the respect for one another's skills was always there.
It was a fleeting reference, but I didn't read it as such. I think those were all F1s. (cue title song from Highlander: Don't loose your head) Edit: http://www.blick.ch/sport/formel1/fuer-wen-geht-die-sonne-unter-186482 Es war der 18. schwere Formel-1-Unfall des Deutschen – ein Beinbruch 1999 in Silverstone war die einzige Verletzung. Das ist fast ein Wunder. So yes, only F1.
Well big deal Yes Lewsor was out of F1, at the front. Alonso gave him a run for his money, Massa same car what's his excuse, you can't blame Ham this time
First time all year RBR failed to make the Podium!... They're in complete disarray! Good drive by all the front runners today. Congrats to LH. Cheers, Ian
boring race though im wondering what is going thru ham, alonzo and others mind looking at vettel at the 2nd corner
Shocked to see someone new win a race after all the vettel dominance. Great race by ham and alonso. Button also did well to drive around his tech issues. Webber and Massa both dreadful as usual. Nico finishing just 2 seconds behind massa says it all about how poorly ferrari's number 2 drove today. We deserve better.
Exactly, however it was a bit of a snoozer to watch. Alonso really is an incredible driver, I hope that at some point in the rest of his career he gets a car worthy of his talents, like Seb currently has. Webber its time to hang it up, even Patrese won a couple of races during Mansell's 1992 season in the all conquering Newey Williams FW14. Webber is no where.
Webber has brought home a fat bucket of points this year. Not exactly time for him to call it a day yet.
I meant race wins, it just seems he doesn't quite have the same drive as he did last year, no pun intended.
Funny you mention Patrese: That's exactly whom I thought of watching Webber going exactly nowhere with the RB. We keep saying how 80% of the performance is the car and 20% the driver. Well in Webber's case he can't do didly squat with the all conquering RB. Vettel would have won this one again and where was Webber? Out to lunch. At least Patrese had a very cool model train collection. Nico got so close because once again Massa spun off. All on his own. That's his backup plan when he can't drive into Hamilton.
Andreas, there are some things between the Williams team of 1991/1992 that have a shade of Red Bull 2010/2011. If you remember until Mansell got out of his haze back in 1991, Patrese was actually performing better in the first quarter of the 1991 season, in 1992 it was Mansell all the way. Webber seemed to have Seb's number for most of last season, but he has not been near him this season with the exception of a couple of races. As far as Massa, again no where near Alonso and as usual with the turd, some kind of drama, this time spinning out on his own. The sooner they replace Massa, the better. He is a turd that got lucky in 2008 and should have been no where near the title of WDC. As stated before thanks to FIA intervention and the fact that Kimi was asleep behind the wheel made him look better than he was.
All true. And in an ironic twist of fate his accident in 2009 IMHO extended his career because Ferrari suddenly went on a guilt trip (why, I can't say, wasn't their fault).
I felt sorry for him when that happened as well. But after the last two seasons, he needs to go. What is strange is that at some tracks he was really quick (Turkey and Brazil come to mind), but he no longer seems to have the same qualifying speed on those Technical Tracks as he had in the past.
He lost raw speed in qualy. He also lost focus over the distance of a race, which is why he spins randomly. And he got a severe case of red mist with Hamilton. I'd also like to see Smedley gone. I was surprised Ferrari didn't sack him after the "destroy Hamilton's race" call became public. I don't see how such a low blow behooves Ferrari's image.
Turd? LOL! Classy. He sent Kimi packing. Period. He wins the title without help if his engine does not die 3 laps from the end in Budapest and the team doesnt screw up his pit stop in Singapore. Facts are facts. Kimi phoned it in and Massa took up the flag when the boy party loser of an iceman didnt. Sorry but thats not too bad for a turd. Classy choice of words. FA - Turd on a loser of a cheating team at Renault. Packed his toys and left Mclaren when he had his a## handed to him by rookie. Yep the sign of a sure fire courageous fighter. Turdlike Id say. Wouldnt you agree?
Without help? Whom are you kidding? The FIA gifted Massa a 14 points swing from his #1 rival in the WDC. Facts are facts. Ending on equal points with the guy who won a WDC a year later isn't exactly my definition of "having his ass handed". I'd use that definition more for the way Alonso destroys Massa this season.
