I achieve new peaks from time to time. I was recently in some hills with no traffic and a series of 30mph turns that would not end. I learned a lot about the car from that day. I've had it two years and I still get new best days.

 

Sitting in the car and turning the key over. The engine roars to life and the burbly idle and Capritso exhaust make all the driving experiences rush back to memory. I get goose bumps every time and even if I am not visually smiling I am on the inside. Unreal.

 

Shifting from second to third at high rpm in a Testarossa (with a Tubi) and/or any perfect downshift in any Ferrari (with a manual transmission).

 

When my son says "we have to go to school today in the fast car because my friends want to see it again."

Does not get better than that, these 5 year olds have no concept of money or wealth or decadence; no judgement just nice car

I would say the first time you see a new timing belt still in the sleeve, ready to be installed.

 

When you steam down the onramp of a motorway/freeway at 8000 rpm in 3rd, then briefly catch the open mouthed stares and pointing fingers of the other drivers before disapearing into the distance like a stabbed rat.

 

When you put the key into the ignition for the very first time. It just don't get any better than that!!
