That was Kasey speaking, not me, so ask him.

That said, free Natty Light and a tent is all I need to catch a Talladega infield hottie. Over 21 (age and teeth count) of course.

Agreed; I might have to accept non-OEM parts.

all down to one race now...

keep 'em coming! they're great pics.

I assume you had some form of press/photo credential?

It was nice to see Kasey back in the winners circle, I like that guy, and wow what a great finish it was. I normally only watch the last 30-60 laps of a race but next weekend I'll be glued to the tv and wolfing down barbeque.

I was saying to my buddy yesterday when we tuned into the race after the Texans game that I would like to know how long it has been since the championship had come down to the last race with such a small points margin??

I slipped one back to 7th in the playoffs but still 2nd overall.

I'm first loser (aka 2nd) by only 35 pts so Das Krautwagon could drop me to 3rd overall.

Miss Sprint Cup. There were actually (at least) two of them. They spend the year following the series around and do all the podium appearances.

let's all chip in and buy Red Bull racing. since Kahne is leaving, I call dibs on driving. :)

but seriously, what's the future on this team? they're decent enough I find it hard to believe they'll be dismantled. but who are the potential buyers? any Nationwide teams looking to move up?

Why? Brian Vickers will wreck you just to win the race.

I was listening to Randy Pemberton the other night - I think he hit the nail on the head.
He said RBR nascar did EVERYTHING right when they started, great car, great engineers, great crew chiefs, great everything: the one BIG mistake he said they made was not hiring EXPERIENCED drivers from the start. Scott Speed and Brian Vickers are NOT development drivers, and that shows every week.

Him and 42 others, don't kid yourself.

at the time I thought Vickers was a good choice, given his experience at Hendrick. I guess not

Kahne was a good pick but too little, too late.

Allmindinger (sp?), Speed, et al were bad ideas.

Yep Vickers last escapades showed atleast to me his character, vindictive and immature.
