I hate say it...but I like it. Looks pretty slick both literally and figuratively. Its obviously much more aero than the currently DP abortions. However, one can't help but be disappointed by the tube frame beneath its skin.

Now if there were only more than 14 spectators at the circuits to see them run...

Looks great. I wonder if GM can support both factory efforts in ALMS and Grand AM?

Don't know why they bother...it will get squeezed by the rules makers just like the other ALMS series Corvette has. When the competition pulls you by 10 car lengths on the back straight you are just taking up space.

NAH !!! Grand Am dosen't play all those games or the green concept , just simple cars ,,mostly pushrod V-8 . Not ever going to be as high tech as ALMS , but then again it's basically a road racing version of NASCAR , which is somewhat successful , while not being even close to ex$pen$ive technology , just plain jane racing.

This does look a lot better than the old Daytona Prototypes. It will be interesting to see what they do with the BMW and Porsche powered ones. We discussed running P 4/5 C M at the 24 Hours of Daytona with them but in the end they wouldn't let us race.

That's a shame Jim, it would have been terrific to see these two special cars race.

    All the best,
    Andrew.

It looks way better than the old DPs.

Too bad about P 4/5 not being allowed. IMO they should be allowing more cars. It is surprising that they wouldn't want it also.

    Hmmm... two DP classes ?

    That really sucks!

I'm over in Gainesville, and if you had been there, I would be over at Daytona in a heartbeat!

I still really want to go to the 24hr this coming year; too bad they wouldn't let you race!
