    Hi Guys....it is the rookie here. Looking for an 07 599 with 5-7K miles for 190 to 200K. Prefer gray, red or silver. What is the best time to buy and get a reduced price from a dealer??? A 599 advertised on the internet that has been standing there for over two months....and the asking price is 200K.....what should I be able to get this car for??? Most dealerships discount right before the New Year....is that true with someone dealing a Ferrari? Once a new year hits....does an 07 599 lose some value??? Just trying to get a feel for the market. Thank you! D-Man

    A lot of depreciation has already come out of the 599. Not to say it wont lose more because it will. These cars are not assets. They depreciate everyday. The longer you wait the cheaper it will be. If you want to play now, you have to buy now.

    Its impossible to say how much wiggle room is in the 200k car you mention. A number of factors can effect how much the dealer is in the car for.

    If you have the cash and want an amazing ownership experience buy it. The enjoyment factor is incredible.

    Always costs more than we want and sells for less than we wish. When the right car comes along, don't cheat yourself; treat yourself.

    5 days before Christmas;

    Why??

    1) dealers itching to do a deal.
    2) you get an awesome Xmas present!

    That's what I am doing...

    There is an '07 gray car in Boca with around 11k miles, but priced at $185k. I think it has ceramics. I have absolutely no idea what the shape or condition is, I am just always looking around myself. Not my color.

    Are you going to buy the 599 sight unseen from the UK?

    I am going to keep the 599 in the UK for Overseas road trips.

    No point having one in Melbourne when we now can have our license taken and car impounded for doing over 25kph.

    It's a joke in this country!

    You ARE the man!! I take it you have some family or friends who will 'store/garage' the 599 for you? :)

    Any chance of tossing the Wife and the keys on my next visit to Europe? :eek:
