    That and insurance premiums. It makes sense to put it in CA, has o be one of their biggest markets stateside.

    Their largest market, I bet bigger than many countries.

    Also, I wonder if part of the mindset is ease of access by the Asian market though the article references a similar facility in China.

    Great idea. I'm sure CA is still huge market for P as it has always been. Nice to see them committed to CA. F on the other hand bails on the auto show yet holds off site parties during the same time. Nice commitment! Anyway P should also include a restoration facility section similar to what they've got in Stuttgart for classics. That would certainly help to offset the cost of this new facility as it's big bucks to have them restore vehicles to original factory standards.
