Well done Roger,top effort to back up last years result, a few of the other drivers appeared to lift their game this season but consistency has paid off.

 

Two time series champion.. Abosolutely great stuff!

The driver puts his money where his bum sits, doing what he needs to do to get plenty of laps, another national series win, plus a Bathurst 12hr class win...

A strong pedigree to bring into the Australian GT series, and the Bathurst 12 hour, next year and beyond in the Lamborghini!!

The series official celebrations are probably still going on!

Hmmmm, strong sentiments from an ex-hack writer from Modern Motor.

Apparently, the new 911 is devoid of a great deal of steering feel (based on what I've read so far). If so, pass.

 

I've driven a 997 and thought the same.

 

What's the point? 911s were renowned for steering feel and feedback. Take that away, and the model loses some of its charm (to me).

having driven a base model 997 (not the S or GTwhatever version) and Horse's GTR, I would choose the GTR as a driver's car every time.

I thought the 997 was boring. The GTR was total involvement and excitement.

997 would be more comfortable as a daily driver though.

my sister had a 997 S,just a nice car to me.Since sold it.

 

They are a nice car, quite practical and very good to drive.

 

I've been in a porsche 997 turbo,i was impressed with the g-force/power it was producing,just an awsome feeling that was.
To date never been in an R35 GTR,but driven a 700hp R34 GTR and my god,was speechless.

At the end of tbe day i would choose a GTR anyday of the week.
