A gorgeous yellow/black Dino GTS showed up today at my shop delivered from Ohio. It was entrusted to my care to dismantle the car to get ready for a new back to original paint job to( Rosso Rubino Metallizatto) to be done by Steve K. who is becoming quite the Dino expert when it comes to surfacing. Then back to my hobby shop for reassembly and a new back to original tan interior. The interior will be done by Auto's International. It will be absolutely stunning in it's new livery. It seems more and more Dino owners are going back to original colors or some color that you rarely see. This car has some neat features you don't see to often. I love the front bumpers that don't turn into the grill and both front and rear bumpers are much closer to the body. Wednesday starts the process rolling!! Great choice Chad M.

Really looking forward to your experience with that color.

Thinking of shooting it onto my #20405 and it's garage mate '83 Pininfarina Spider

Yes but it's the wrong color for a Dino. It just doesn't show the surface well.

Because of their curves, Dinos look best in metallics. OMGJON's cars prove that.

Sorry, there is no such thing as a wrong color for a Dino.

    Regards, Alberto

I totally agree. I would be happy with any of the 35 or so colors offered!

You may consider doing a timelapse of the tear down. You could mount a little GoPro camera above, and just let it do its thing. They are small and can be mounted anywhere.

I will have name and supplier next week for you. Henk has real stuff in this color and original beige leather.
The carpet in the sample is as close as I could find to original.

The car has been disassembled and will be picked up tomorrow headed for Orange County to Steve K.'s shop for it new Rosso Rubino Livery. Steve should have it for about 10 weeks then back for new interior, rubber and reassembly. Someone went to a lot of work on this car. The only Rosso Rubino I could find was under the headlight fasteners. It was also converted from double post bumpers to single post. The Euro front indicators lights were done really nice with the fit perfect, not how they come from the factory. I have never seen a wheel like the spare that was in this car. It had raised lettering with "CROMODORA", "DINO" and "FERRARI". Has anyone seen a wheel like this??
