Your 355 looks great in yellow.
    Good luck
    Is this your first Ferrari?
If so, you have no idea how awesome the cars and the people are that own them are.
    Good luck!

Yup, first F-car. '97 three-pedal totally stock. Gave rides for like 2 hours today to family. Icing my ankle now. Will post proper pics when she's all cleaned up.

Very nice. Have been looking for the challenge grille...any ideas? Also a neighbor of mine got these stick on shields for like $10 bucks. I just may do that. Not too fond of sticking stuff onto the paint, though. Are the fenders made of steel? Maybe magnets?

Buy the yoshi shields. Very very close to the real deal. About ~$300 but worth it. I have the factory option on my car but have seen these in person and they are amazing.

Congrats!!! Yoshi shields all the way. Had the magnets on first to be sure I liked them then got the real ones (Yoshi). I think the car looks naked without them. Love the challenge grill but about $800 for aftermarket.

    +1000- Yoshi or NOTHING!!!

I have literally parked next to a 360 with factory shields and even inches apart very slight difference (essentially the factory shield is a tiny bit indented into the fender). It was tough to see the difference looking at them right next to each other, essentially no one would notice outside of a few jaded ferrari nuts like f-chatters :)

Serously, yoshi are that good (and the others that bad...)

    http://yoshield.com/

There used to be a discount for F-chatters- type in the code "FCHAT" for the discount (if it still applies).

Good luck with your new car!

    -Andrew

Nope. Found this one locally. Went for a blast on some backroads at 7 am with my 1 year-old this morning. He calls it "Daddy's motorcycle car." Car seat fits great! Never too early to allow them to appreciate true automotive talent.

Are you allowed to let a one year old sit in a forward facing position? I was told by California Hwy Patrol that I must have backward facing position until the child is at least two year old or XYZ pound. I'm a new dad and have so much to learn.

It's a weight and age requirement I believe. But now they are recommending that children stay rear facing until 2 years old.

He's almost 2 but has been forward facing since 11 mos. They have made the recommendation for rear facing until 2 years or I think 25lbs. even in NY but there's only so much u can do. Congrats on being a new dad. When my first was born, I had an '84 carrera cab. Sold it when he was 1 and this is my first new toy in 8 years. HOLD ON TO YOURS!

Where on LI do you live? So many cruise nights all over the place in the summer. Always feel proud when I pull up with my 355. As soon as I park there is a crowd around my car. People love the F cars! We have to meet up.

We should start a local 355 club I know of at 3 maybe 4 other guy's with 355's. We could meet at local events and go for drives before and after. You know safety in numbers. :) What do you guys think?

Wow so beautiful. COngratulations. the 355 holds a special place in my heart out of all the Ferraris. Maybe because it is the way it feels like you are sitting on the road and connected like a go cart or maybe ibecause it is the First Ferrari I snuck out of the garage and damaged it (had to get it repaired at the dealership that I now own!!!).

IN any light, i am so happy for You. Where in LI do you live? If you need anything please keep in touch. Keep in mind that due to my love for the belt driven cars we actually have special maintence pricing for the belt driven cars that we call the Vintage Service Program. Of course i can post hte menu of pricing but i did not want to step on your thread. If you want me to do it just let me know.

I hope you enjoy this wonderful car with joy.
    Garrett

PS My love for cars began with rides as an infant with my father!!!! although ther was no baby seat back then and the car had no top which drove my mother crazy!!!! It has kept me close with my father to this day and i wish the same for you and yoru newborn!!!
