Does it have an engine under the hood? The front suspensions seems to be riding very high.

Yes the engine is intact. I think the car may be on blocks in the front, the battery is missing up front and the only way to remove it is thru the bottom.Maybe they blocked it up to get the battery out. This is the second Bizzarrini found this year in the states.

    Truly another amazing find.

The car is for sale through the same people that dug up the low mile Daytona, Dino and Maserati that were on ebay multiple times and ended up at the Mecum auction.

The car is not sold yet and the price is $435 firm, they claim to have turned down $425. If it is what is claimed (original paint and basically rust free) that is reasonable, but if the electrolosys is worse than they are claiming it could be the proverbial can of worms. I'd have a hard time painting an original paint car even with a little rot.

Correct, possibly the most original bizzarrini. 24 K miles, all original including the paint and interior. I wonder if it just ends up going to auction.

I am 99% sure I tried to buy a 275 short nose from this guy about 6-7 years ago. The car was exactly as described, but we were apart on price.

    Of course looking back ........

If his house used to be a bed and Breakfast, or still is, then its the same guy.

They are in the trunk I do wonder why the front badge is missing though. That is not a good sign. I heard the car turns over and starts, but what else would you expect from a 327.

Anyone with more information about # 276 ?

Did it sell and how much ?

I have some ideas buying a Strada but not many original cars exist
with a price below Eur 300.000

IMO it was a PR stunt to build attention prior to a auction.

Around a hundred Bizzarrini's were made and 75% are accounted for, then there are the others how many not really sure maybe an additional 25-30, so it's not that bad.

Correct REAL Bizzarrini's in excellent cond. demand more than 300 EU's but that is no surprise, it's been that way for many years.

What type of Italian exotic can you buy for the street that is almost exactly the same as the car raced at LeMans, for under 500K USD! in addition you can work on the engine. Heck you can blow the engine up and still get a new one for under 10 K USD. IMO these cars should be seven figures. They have it all, Looks, reliability, good handling.....

Thank you for the information, I understand that a perfect car will cost much more
than Eur 300.000 but this will be my limit so it´s a restoration project I am looking for.

As I already have all the mechanical parts for the car, even an empty shell would do
but I guess there is no such object on the market...

Really you have all the parts?

    Twin gas tanks
    Biz Gauges
    Bonadi brake boosters
    Italian Radiator
    Campagnolo brake
    Biz steering wheel
    Biz trim
    Biz glass
    suspension

    Biz exhaust

    Biz switches

    Campy wide rims.........

And then there is the frame Part Iso parts Bizzarrini, it is very complex.

Yes, if you could find me an empty shell, I´d had it on the road within a year -
I don´t have the glass, twin tanks or the steering wheel but these parts could be
made by people on my friends-list.
I am not looking for Pebble Beach condition and 100% original but it should look
    original and street legal.
As for parts like the swiches, I cant imagine Mr Bizzarrini had his own production.
