    Does anyone know if 206/246 "L" shift gate is available? This one is more radiused at the corners.
    I only seem to find the latter version, slightly different and less square, without the 'ear' at the bottom screw hole.

    Hi Alberto,
    Sorry, I don't know of one available but here is a side by side comparison, with an original L-series gate on the left.
    With a bit of grinding, filing and re-plating I'm sure you could transform the right one into the left one.

    you will find the early shift gate also in M-Series Dinos

    Thank you Matthias and Andrew, I have the original one and will install it as is.
    The chrome is not great, but that can always be repaired. I have a new E version and can definitely grind it down just as an L.
    Possibly the old one would look good in the car as really the original part with history that can be seen.
    No points off for this one :)

    Mine is chromed. I think the E series is satin steel, cutting costs.

    Thanks for the photos Andrew, That was more or less the thought of remaking one, as mine is not rechromed, yet not bad at all, so still unsure.
    It's just that I am fed up of platers and chromers, not in a bad way, it's all the shipping and waiting.
    Possibly the new shape of gate kind of intrigues me as possibly being smoother? Anyone?
