Given the all wheel drive system + differentials on front & rear, I would imagine upgrading the wheels on the Murcielago is a rather delicate matter. Can I get a consensus from fellow owners as to what you guys did, if you upgraded your wheels? What kind of 'tolerance' would be safe to keep the differential intact?

I don't own a Murci, but I have read several times that the key with using larger diameter aftermarket wheels on AWD Lamborghinis, like the Diablo/Murcielago/Gallardo, is to maintain the ratio between the rolling circumference of the fronts to the rears.

My own opinion is that I have yet to see an aftermarket wheel for the Murcielago that looks better on the Murcielago than the five available styles from Lamborghini.

I wonder... do the Aventador wheels fit the Murcielago like the Murcielago wheels fit the Diablo...

I don't disagree that the OEM wheels offered by Lambo are good looking. But I believe they're all of 18" in terms of diameter? Was just toying w/ the idea of upgrading to 19" wheel.

Yeah, all the Murci wheels, Speedlines, Roadsters, Hermeras, SVs, and Reventons are 18".

This question comes up every so often on the various Lamborghini forums, and they all seem to go the same way.

Keeping the rolling diameter ratio front to rear is mentioned.

A few photos of Lamborghinis with aftermarket wheels are posted.

Someone says "why take the chance of ruining your car and voiding the warranty"

I'm assuming this one will go much the same way.

The Hercules (or roadster, if you will) are by far the best looking on the Murcielago for me. Very few aftermarket wheels work on the Murcielago, or most exotics IMO.
