And I don't even speak German! Seriously, its humbling to see a published work that took so long to produce, now out there in English, French and German. Thanks for sharing.
I just wanted to congratulate you for the 5th birthday of your milestone thread my favorite thread in Ferrarichat (only close to the " More Old Photos" thread ) which is a little older but not quite a successful in # views terms )
Thank you. Perhaps if you refrained from claiming errors in almost every single post you make, I would take your contributions more positively! Seasons Greetings.
I think it is awesome that the Miura and Countach threads have more views and replies than every other thread dedicated to actually discussing cars on FerrariChat. More than the 250GTO, more than the F40, more than the P4/5. I believe that Ferraris/Girls and Garage Pics might be the only threads with more views or replies. I believe that says something when these Lamborghini threads rule a Ferrari forum. Here's to another 5 years of Miura discussion.
Thank you all. I started it 5 years ago with the idea that it would be a resource (as with most of my threads) and with everyone's generous participation, it seems to have worked out. Thanks again...
I suspect the logo badge on the back of the Islero might simply be a font issue. I'm still attempting to track it down. This is not the only typeface in which the capital "I" appears to look like a "J". Plus if you look at all of the other factory literature, it is clearly an I and not a J!
The spelling of my first name is really with an "I" but not a lot of people know that. It was written wrongly on my birth certificate and next thing you know people think its a "J".
do you mean that all JOE are like you ? for instance : Joe NASTASI Joe PESCI Joe COCKER Joe FRAZIER all are IOE ??? Dod dam...

Nice, thanks for sharing. I see what I think is a German chassis ID plate next to the factory one but there wasn't a close-up to verify.
I saw this video for the first time when I posted it here but it dates from 2009. A potential purchase of a project here for you, Joe if someone hasn't restored the car and sold it already?
The car is owned by the poster of that video and its not for sale (to the best of my knowledge). Here is the information of it that resides on the Lamborghini Registry: "1971 MIURA SV Chassis #4966 Engine #30666 Prod. #665 8 Oct 1971 Originally Red/Black to H. Hahne. Jan 1980 - Imported from Hamburg, Germany by V.I.P. Toy Store to California. Sold for $53,000. Formerly with Bill Cox, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Nov 2008 - To Ed Biggie in Davie, FL, USA along with 13 other collector cars purchased as part of a package deal." Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
