It is hard to get more info about the CF Countach. Only 1 or pics of the CF chassis (as seen in Raymond's website). IIRC the car is already crashed ?

    PS:
The guy on the left is a fan of Duran Duran :D

Thanks for the kind comments. This kit is "Entex" & has the same box art as that Otaki...I also have a 1/16 Fujimi 25th Anni Countach & the body looks quite accurate, but I've yet to build any of that brand.

The evolution is an interesting car & there are many pictures of it out there. I've collected a number of them hoping to build it in scale form someday...

The 1/16 was better (in accuracy of body shape) than the 1/12 molds were, but still not quite right. None were as dead-on as the 1/24 Fujimi. Having said that, the 1/24 Fujimi have the most accurate bodies but sit a little too tall on the suspension and the tires (though spectacularly well molded and detailed) always had slightly too much aspect on them, raising the stance even a bit more.

Thanks Joe. I now have a better understanding of this car that I never really paid attention to.

Cool Joe, do you have them in high res as well?
I never saw these with the chassis details before, quite simple how they did it but a huge effort those days.

Can someone confirm that only 16 1989 countach non anniv have been made? (Started at 408 and finished at 424)

Also does any one knows where is ZA9C005A0KLA12415 ? It is supposed to be a red -tan UK delivered car.

Great pics! I don't think I've seen these yet. There is just something so raw & animalistic about that car...probably because it is!

Annivesario production officially started in September 1988 after which no other variant of Countach was built.

A 1988 side-skirted non-Anniv car titled as a 1989 or first registered in 1989 was in fact built in 1988. I remember being on the showroom floor of Prestige Imports in Miami in late 1988 and seeing brand new non-Anniversary cars for sale as "1989" Countachs for the USA - MY discretion being put into practice. Strictly speaking, there is no such thing as a 1989 non-Anniversary Countach, the last of the side skirted cars was built in the summer of 1988.

FWIW the last customer Countach Annivesario was built in the spring of 1990, with the last car (12085) completed July 5th 1990.

Digging deeper, these are undoubtedly drawn by Pagani, they are to the same treatment of the drawings of the composite applications to the 1988 Annivesario.
