Sorry but it is, 73 GT rhd euro 6462.

Had some problems 6 months ago & thought I had fixed them, but not all of them it appears. If the car sits for a week or more it becomes very hard to start. I turn on the ignition & wait a few seconds, listening to the fuel pump, depress the throttle 4 times & hit the starter for a few seconds, motor turns over but wont start. Do this 3 or 4 times & gradually it will splutter into life begrudgingly.
Now here is the catch, after a week sitting if I pour a small amount of fuel down the carb. throats it will start almost immediatly & not splutter. Why is it so?

carbs cleaned, float levels set & new gaskets.
    venturi accel. pumps working (squirters)
    fuel pump working, clean filter.
    new plugs & leads.

No Dinos were harmed during the starting of this vehicle

    Thanks in advance

    Cliff,
    sounds strange.
If the squirters works then there is no difference to your extra pouring fuel in the carb,
it is the same thing... Have you checked with open carb housing if by pushing the throttle
by hand fuel is mechanically injected into each carb? For me it sounds that the carbs get not enough fuel at the beginning.
    Regards
    Nico
