Hey, Our main man Danny Bahar says he has no doubts about Kimi's motivation having worked with him at Ferrari blah blah. His last sentence is the one that got me though; Shouldn't that be the other way round? Seems like Kimi's capabilities are well proven..... Cheers, Ian http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/96701
Yeah, I hope Kimi's capabilities will outperform the car's. Akin to what Alonso does in the Ferrari because otherwise you'll be a bottle of Burgundy short already. I'm guessing Kimi will do ok, but the car is a POS. I'll see him duking it out with the likes of Sauber, TR and Team Farce.
Knowing that Bahar seems to rob everything Ferrari he can (ideas, former F1 team employees, former drivers) the car should be in good shape.
Consider me out of the loop... What was the last technical innovation Ferrari brought to F1 other than their ground effect flapping floor and vibrating front wings ?
Last years car certainly went backwards during the season, but was on the podium at the first two races....... Hardly a POS. And it wasn't being driven by "top flight" talent either - Who knows what it may have done had Robert been driving? It was also a radical design in an era when such things virtually never happen - At least they *tried* something different - OK, it didn't develop well, but kudos to them for trying. Cheers, Ian
