I love the look of the lexan side window but I couldn't own a CS with that option. My widows are always down.

Very sad news indeed. Anyone know the VIN? Seems like it's a complete total loss.

Que the old Queen song........ "boom, boom, boom! Another one bites the dust"!

The rest of ours just went up in value! Again.

The way these are dropping, it won't be long before we actually have a really rare Ferrari!

You've had it for what, 6 whole months? What are you replacing it with? I say $125k-130k given color, service history, warranty, condition, etc.

Stokpro, fyi, your message box is full and cannot receive new messages. I just tried sending you a PM and it wouldn't let me.

I think he keeps it full because too many last year were tire kicking and hoping for the deal of a lifetime.

    My 2 cents.

+1 Way too many tire kickers and wanna be buyers. It's fun helping guys like h2oskier, rzundel, storybook, pj1, hiros, flyfisher, bjm, joe mac, v tach, ewright, bleu omdurman (to name just a few) in scoring their dream CS because they actually pull the trigger and appreciate the help. Responding to countless emails, PM's, phone calls, etc definitely requires a large investment of time and patience and some don't even extend common courtesy to say thank you. Suppose it was a blessing in disguise because now I have more time to go drive.

For what it's worth, my PM to you was a thanks for your prior help, despite the fact that I got a 360 offer I couldn't refuse and not a CS, but certainly still love the CS and was close to getting one ;). I understand your sentiments though, and there is little in it for you to offer such help to everyone. Anyway, thanks again.

I feel for you. For every car at this price point, up to ~$600K that I have sold or brokered, there are 100 dreamers that give you an impossible spec and price point. Then when you give them exactly what they ask for, and they actually have write a check..... the phone goes dead.

On the other side of that coin, I have had clients who don't even know me, wire millions for a car that is essentially in boxes. All with no questions asked.

The reward, at the end of the day... once all the poseurs, dreamers and tire kickers are sifted through, is actually helping another enthusiast realize their dream. Whether its a used AMG that we've tuned and delivered for $30K, or a rare multimillion dollar Ferrari. Those that do this, do it for the friendships that we make along the way, and the love of the cars.

That wasn't targeted towards you at all Mike. I had no issues offering CS guidance to you and glad you ended up with an Fcar. Will gladly help you again if and when you're back in the market for CS.

    +1 well said Dino!

Only 14 CS's for sale currently compared to 38 same time last year. Make that 13 very soon. Will we see less than 10 available soon? The way CS inventory has been trending as of late we just might. FWIW, "14" is lowest number I've seen since 2004 when CS was released. 47 is all time high.

+1. Glad you are taking the time to drive and not help the undeserving and unappreciative! I've noticed my fchat time has diminished greatly this year because I'd rather be on the road!

Dave....... Its a salvage titled car. It was owned by an FCatter. He ran over a rock and damaged the floor pan, and apparently that is an instant total. I looked at and drove the car and it is very nice. There were actually 6" of damage to the floor, and it was perfectly repaired.

If you are going to keep the car, it would be a winner.
