    I've done this many times :D (minus the tree part, but I am trying that next year)

    I'm always surprised with how much you can fit in a 911. I've done a nice week long trip in one very comfortably. :)

    I've driven cross country in a 911 with no problems several times :)

    the key is many small bags, as big suitcases, etc don't fit very easily into the back seat.

    That 911 is horrid. I hate to see cars die like that but that one needed to die.

    that exoskeleton spine deal is awful.

    otherwise a shame to see a 911 end like that..but I've seen 911's look much worse (the first 993 cab I ever saw had less than 100 miles on it and had been wrapped around a tree; looked like a 911 taco)

    God knows when to take out the uglies and unfortunately He also knows when to teach people they shouldn't drive beyond their skillset.

    I do agree I hate to see any 911 die because they are my favorite car to drive.

    I hope the 993 with 100 miles wasn't yours and the driver was ok.
