    are there any plans to have an event - official or unofficial?
    i asked edwin colella (i think i remember his name correctly), head of ferrari events, and he indicated only vaguely about perhaps doing something...., so i have no further info.

    anybody else know?

    For special events in Europe there's usually very little notice : for example the Targa Florio Tribute was only announced with no more than three months warning - and that seems typical

    The Silverstone event has a link here but mainly still covers 2011 http://silverstoneclassic.com/

    They had loads of Jaguars this year - next year's theme will probably be confirmed in January or February

    Its probably one of the few locations where it is possible to both display and drive large numbers of cars as part of an event

    Really looking forward to the Silverstone classic this year. They are celebrating 25 years of both the F40 and the RS500 Sierra Cosworth, my two favourite cars.

    I am taking my own RS500 along to the event which will be on display on the owners club stand and cannot wait to see 50 plus F40s as well. Lets just hope we have a sunny weekend.
