Indeed Jim, as always you are extremely well-informed I had forgotten to post this car so here goes: The 94th USA F40 built, it is a 1991 example, built for one Lido Anthony Iaccoca, known to most as Lee Iaccoca. Ex-Tony Carlini. ZFFMN34A7M0087345. I will be happy to inspect it for anyone prior to the auction. I suspect it will be an expensive purchase, and it will need everything maintenance-wise, also expensive. So there is no use crying in your beer afterwards Image Unavailable, Please Login
And here come the pics.. 283 miles actually. Tony I think the 30k service will cover whats needed, but then again this car must be taken as an individual and inspected for needs. I will know more when I see it..
Me with my F40 found on the web and my father with Porsche 906 (bottom of picture) at the MM event in Passo della Futa. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showpost.php?p=136742659&postcount=9183

Yes, is Pistoia. I was in Mille Miglia event that year. A beautiful event to see also for you Americans, I was in Laguna Seca, Monterey, Carmel (without the car) that August, I thought you FC friends were all there?
I had to do it! Next time! Exactly! My car is 1989, no cat engine. Delivered in early Genuary 1990 directly by the factory, as soon as finished testing by Benuzzi. He delivered me the car just in time to remove their "targa prova". The car was tested by him in Fiorano track and hills around the factory that days and was 256 kms on the odo. The car was a plexi windows weighed 1145 kgs (2523 lbs) dry. 1100 kgs (2425 lbs) were only theoretical. Like I ordered, it was a light car. Also, it was the period for good engines out of the line.
