awesome. even the most jaded resident of Maranello/Modena would have to sit up and take notice of that!
Whew! Thanks for the "ride", man. I thought I'd have my thumb out all day... Seriously, that was a neat afternoon treat. Thanks for posting it!
If god ever gives me the choice to come back and says here you go kid, who will it be... I will need an old scotch and really think hard between Hugh hef and you Jim - Congrats ! That video was truly fantastic. Enjoy in good health !!!!!
Great film. Hope you had a chance to get out of town with 002. A bit nerve racking wainting for one of those three wheel minis to pull out in front. In looking at the pictures of the finished product there is no question that this piece of work is worth every bit of time and expense. The look is superb when compared with the old 1948 pictures. It wasn't until I watched the Modena drive that I saw the the fold open vent on the cowl in front of the cockpit was really there. Very obvious in the original Turin and M.M. photos but hard to see in the latest repro photos. No way it would have been neglected. Interesting the early pictures of the body during construction do not show the vent. Apparently added later. The Nurburgring films were a thrill. The driver of the P4/5 appeared to show great respect for the 14.7 miles particularly as he did have a few "moments". Very careful thru the Carousel. Thanks much just one man's opinion tongascrew
Congratulations Jim. You are saving the great ones, one at a time. May you be be healthy and prosperous for a long time to keep on doing it.
