Tubi is excellent but much over priced . Definitely not worth 3x the price of Nouvalari . All Nouvalari need to is add heat shields
Is a Nouvalari only $2100? How much do you value your engine? It amazes me how some owners will spend $10,000 on all sorts of carbon parts but cheap out on the actual working parts. As Ive said before, for many these cars are just show.
My Headers are not coated but it can be done for an extra cost, We can also make headers out of T308 Stainless. I will have an update on our 355 Headers after the holidays but am not at liberty to discuss anything yet but when I do it will be big. Thank you to everyone for your support and kind words. Nouvalari is 100% hand made in England and all exhaust and Headers carry a Lifetime Warranty. www.nouvalari-usa.com
Not much direct experience with any of this but will say that the Nouvalari exhaust sytems are very nice and sound great. Glenn is a great guy and if they make their headers anything like thier exhausts, they would definately be something I would be looking at. Good luck.
Maybe the update Glen will have on the 355 headers soon will be that they are insulated. Probably not but any company that can come up with proper headers that are insulated and under 4gs will dominate the market.
I have the Nouvalari exhaust and high flow cats (installed by Roberto). Sounds good to me, but I have never heard a stock 348 in person to compare. Here is a quick video I took w/ my brother revving. Sorry for the wind noise, but it was 25' and windy! [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FxP7sJ76RQY[/ame]
Having headers coated is really quite simple. We send them to Jet Hot (actually not to their North Carolina facility -- but to their Oklahoma plant where they can do the higher rated coatings.) The quality of the work is very high, the delivery times are spot on, and the pricing is quite reasonable. I think for the Extreme-2000 in black, it's like $400 or something like that. We've had customers from outside the USA chose to buy headers elsewhere, but send them to us for coating and shipping consolidation with other bits they're buying from Ricambi America. I'm happy to keep providing the same service, and it's pretty easy. We do not 'mark-up' the pricing, but pass it along exactly as we're billed (we have a corporate pricing structure I think), simply as a service to customers. In the last 30 days, we've sent sets to Australia, Canada, Dubai, and a few right here in the USA. So... if you're not all hung up on shiny pipes, do it. The highest temperature coatings are not available in polished finishes. We have used Extreme-2000 in black. .
You are a fine man Daniel. Gotta love your parts and the super fast next day shipments even to Toronto. Alex at Daytona loves you.
Funny that people who don't want to spend 1/8 the value of there car on headers alone are considered "cheap".
Daniel is 100% correct. The best possible scenerio would be Stainless Headers and Jet Hot Coated. You really can't see the headers anyway and to know they are Jet Hot coated you will probably never have an issue with the headers again. The price of $2100.00 for my headers is not correct and I do not want to give a price on the new headers until it is ready and all testing is done, It should be sometime in Jan/ Feb but there are no promises and I want to make sure it is 100% perfect first. I will keep the forum posted as soon as I get the the ok its good to go and yes there will be heat shields included. I wanted to wish everyone a very Happy Holiday and good health in the New Year. That Daniel is 1 of a kind and and it does not get any better then Ricambi, customer service, knowledge, price and customer service the 4 things we all look for. Regards to all, Glenn 1-877-888-1600 I work 7 days a week so feel free to call me anytime
Good luck Glen! Sounds like you got some exciting stuff in the pipeline. If I don't see you before the spring, have a wonderful holiday and new year. And you are right, Daniel is in a league of his own. I don't think it is possible to have more integrity and better customer service than Ricambi. Imagine how different the Ferrari experience would be if every vendor, dealer and owner took a few pages out of his book.
I am almost sure that Jeff@Fabspeed will not want you to do that as they are most concerned about their reputation. I would think that he has already made contact with you and tried to resolve your complaint? Yes?
Thanks Joe, Happy Holidays to you and the family. My car needs a 30K service so you probably will not see me until the Spring. I have a mean sounding TR system when you are ready
Speaking of taking pages out of his book, I went to my local Ferrari dealer to buy a small 11$ part and the guy at the parts department was using the Ricambi website to locate which part I needed. He said that the Ricambi site is faster and easier to use than Ferrari's own software. That says a lot!
My two cents. I can only say that I have the SS exhaust from Nouvalari. Glenn is a great guy and the exhaust is top notch. If the other products are anything like the exhaust I have, and Genn endorses them, noone will be disspointed.
Why doesn't Nouvalari post their prices on the website? What's the big secret? Let us consumers see the pricing and decide. Fabspeed has prices, instructions, photos, videos, etc...that helps in enticing consumers
I agree and am somewhat baffled by this. I went to their website and everything is "contact for price". Maybe pricing changes with demand and material costs?
Sure, your cost fluctuates but, unless it has a huge impact, you can't do weekly price changes on your stuff, especially high-priced items like this costing thousands of dollars. Whatever fluctuation has to remain within your margins bigger or smaller, you can't change your price on something like this like you're running a gas station. The price should be the price, regardless of who and where the buyer comes from, it's only ethical so unless there is something that needs to be hidden or you have a retail store and you're trying to entice people to come in, there is no reason not to post your price. I know some of you will say that Fabspeed is hiding that their stuff comes from Taiwan and you'd have a point but their site responds a lot better to our needs as an "online' Ferrari community than the others..... BTW, I have purchased 5000$ of headers and other stuff from Fabspeed and I am a happy customer so far but I am in no way affiliated with them.
I do not post prices on Fchat or my website because I have dealers who I need to protect and not cause issues. Dealers send customers to my site to see pictures and sound clips, they charge for the exhaust and/or manifolds and installation, in most cases for one price. Prices do fluctuate with costs of metal and shipping. I give Fchat members special prices and I find it much better by not posting prices to eleviate any conflict and my prices are lower then most other reputable companies and everything is hand made in England and that is verified and confirmed. Everything comes in T4 polished Stainless and carry a LifeTime Warranty. Also include the shipping charges are included with my prices for now to all Fchat members If anyone wants a price please contact me.. All the Best, Glenn 1-877-888-1600 or [email protected] My 355 updated Headers will be done in a few weeks
If Glenn says it, he means it. He has his reasons and they sound legit to me. Having dealt with him I can testify to his credibilty and the fact that he is a big help and a stand up guy. He will help anyone he can in anyway he can. Just call and talk to him and you will see.
Just to clarify, I have never met Glenn in person, am not a friend of his or have any affiliation with his company. I simply called him and purchased one of his exhausts. I have NEVER dealt with a more friendly customer service or a company that is so willing to help the customer.
FWIW, I've got Fabspeeds on mine (installed by PO a little over two years ago) and I've had no issues at all. Great product as far as I can tell.
Thanks Todd. By the way, check out our new X-pipe muffler.... http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=351186 Thanks! Jeff
