Dear Mr.Mann, or Peter if better...
good to read that you own 2052 (you mean surely this s/n and not "2025").
serial number 2052 (F131GTC*2052*) was delivered in march 2004 in Switzerland ,color yellow, thru the Loris Kessel Auto SA dealership.
As you -Peter ,surely know, this was the press car and some pictures could be see on various magazins or
    in "La Ferrari 2005" ,no.2238/05,page 56 ,
and in "Ferrari Corse Clienti 2004",no.2026/04..

    regards
    Ivo

No idea. Car is long gone. Engine was replaced after 1 year of ownership - as it blew up in 2001.

Not surprised by that, Oscar. Not one bit.

Just providing what I've found. It's also a good thing to post the links (or the source material) so it's recorded for reference. And, possibly, correction!

BTW, where's 360C from Oz? He might have some good commentary on the GTs as he owns or owned one of the ex-Veloqx cars.

The N-GT S/N 14 was actually raced in the Australian Nations Cup series in 360 Challenge guise by the original owner who was a Hong Kong resident. I am not sure whether the car was originally delivered to Hong Kong or to Maranello Motorsport here in Melbourne.
I supplied the full Nations Cup history to Mike Sheehan who used it when he was trying to sell the car on his website. It might still be there, I haven't looked. Unfortunately I lost the info in a computer crash; but I recall it won the 2001 Sandown 500 (pics from defunct Nations Cup website unknown copyright) with the owner and professional driver John Bowe. After that it was converted to an N-GT at Michelotto through Maranello Motorsport and I believe never raced. At one stage it was advertised for sale and pictured in a HK warehouse.
Eventually it was purchased by the Ferrari finance director who raced it as mentioned. Pics of it as an N-GT are copyright Andrew Turner (Birel).
No idea where it is today.

Looks like this is the car, repainted with different livery and living in England... (for now, at least until re-sold again anyway)...

Here's a JGTC 360. Listed as a 6MT, but the last 3 photos/captions show/say that it's got a Hewland sequential. Too bad the air restrictor blocks out a view of the engine bay.

It looks very different from the car in my first post in this thread. Is this based on stock 360 (in which case I posted in the wrong forum sorry) or a Challenge car?

This is probably one of the most extensively modified 360's I've ever seen!

Its difficult to tell what it was before because virtually nothing of the original car is left!
You'd need the chassis number to find out for sure. This is a true one off special regardless of its chassis origins or not.

Any performance figures? More detailed modification history on how this 360 became eligible for the Japanese series JGTC? I'd love to know more details as absolutely everything I look at in the pictures is custom.

    :) The ever purist...

Most of the Challenge race cars I've seen up close and in person are very very rough and workman alike.

These mods where obviously done in the pursuit of gaining extra performance without looking towards the aesthetics. Japanese makers have always been great at getting performance gains evolved but not necessarily for their styling vs the Italians.

I wonder how much of a gain there is? I wonder what the kerb weight is? I agree though that I prefer the N-GT styling but I'm intrigued to know more...

360trev, regrettably, I know zip about the car other than what's listed on that homepage. In that connection, I must apologize, in my above message I say that "Too bad the air restrictor blocks out a view . . . ," which suggests that there is an air restrictor when in fact there is no air restrictor according to pic 8/13. I wonder if the engine management has been modified to take advantage of that?
