I also saw MI Ghost Protocol last night also and they did show the Dark Night trailer. It looks very good. At least some of it was filmed here in Pittsburgh.
Was that the one where he and his buddy switched lives?? I know I would really enjoy that movie also.
Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol. Lots of BMW promotions during the movie. New Year's Eve. Very cool, light hearted movie.
+1. I stumbled across it on cable last night. I was interested in watching it because it was primarily set and filmed in nearby New Orleans. Pretty funny to see the NOLA skyline during the Chicago scenes too...oops.
True Grit. It was okay...expected more given the Coen brother's history. The dialogue in the entire movie has perfect grammar I think, lol. Even during the most ridiculous gun fight scenes where you think someone would say something that wouldn't be considered polite at a ballroom event, ahah.
The Artist - absolutely great and very different from normal film experience Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy - very good perhaps a bit slow but well done Good week for movies...
Tin Tin Read all the comics as a kid. The movie did a very good job at recreating the look and feel fo the comic books. Unfortunately some action sequences are hugely overdone, partly to cater to today's action packed tastes and partly to make it look cool in 3D. Overall not bad, but I have to say, some things were more enjoyable when I was younger. So I'll skip the inevitable sequel.
The Help - I was staying with my sister in Houston & let my nieces choose a movie, some funny parts but a very moving film. I really was impressed with it.
Super 8 Interesting movie, I never got into it, I was waiting for them to tell more of the story and then it ended. The credits were the best.
Mission Impossible : Ghost Protocol. You guys have to see it. There were actually exotics when they went to India for a mission. And Tom Cruise car is awesome. Do anyone know what the car is called? Its like a concept car but all I know is it is a BMW.
