As soon as I saw the headline I figured it was the Maverik thing. I remember I saw the promo stopped at a station in Spanish Fark this summer.

 

Spanish Fark made me laugh.

 

I was at the game when they gave it away, thought for sure he'd make it at least a week before wrecking it.

 

Just some scratches, a damaged bumper, and a hole in the oil pan...doesn't sound like much damage. Hopefully this will scare him into behaving responsibly. Apparently he already had the cops called on him for driving too fast, before the crash happened.

 

He drives a Frito lay truck for a living, therefore,as he says,he is a very good driver......

Giving a Lambo away to Maverick customers? Was that really the best vehicle to choose? Why not a decked out pickup truck or something? It would seem to fit the demographics better. Anyway, driving truck does not make you a good supercar driver. Part of the winnings does include driving instruction at Miller. I'm also assuming he will eventually put the car up for sale?

 

And the repair bill will total more than his annual salary... Time to sell!

You are right on.. just because you can shoot a pellet gun, doesn't mean you should have a fully automatic machine pistol.

 

Having done tons and tons of Lambo bodywork quotes, I think this poor fellow (or his insurance company) is about to have a heart-attack.

 

I wonder if his insurance will even pick up the tab? Says he had it for only 6 hours.
Either way what an embarrassment that must have been. Should have stuck to the Frito truck.

 

Bumper alone will be $20-26k depending on front or rear.

 

I can vouch for that.. lol!

Pretty close to that. As best I can tell from the pics you have:

New rear bumper, rocker damage, wheel damage, tailight, oil pan was punctured, rear diffuser. And who only knows what else...

Damn, that sucks but certainly could have been a lot worse for all involved.

 

And redefined "Ruffles" and "Wavy Lays" in the process.

 

I got a call from a friend a week or so ago. He said the guy that delivers chips to his father in laws store won a Lambo and was having a hard time coming up with the tax money. I told him to call Roy Cats and sell the car to him.

I guess he found a way to pay for the taxes. Or at least take delivery of the car.

Poor lucky bass turd.

 

The damage doesn't look that bad. But, there's more to owning a super car than just buying one. It's a love- hate relationship sometimes.

 

My guess is he thought he was ok with the LP640's AWD.
Definitely should have called Roy.

 

I would have ripped that thing to the track and back and posted that sucker for sale! unbelievable!!!! Dave, if i was at the game I would have said what a lucky bastard.. and thought as you did he will wreck it in 2 weeks ha ha good call.
