    Hi, I'm looking to PPI a 2000 360 F1.

    What should I expect for an average PPI price from a dealer versus independent Ferrari shop?

    I was quoted somewhere between $800 to $1,000, for a full-day's work, end-to-end, including a compression test by an independent Ferrari shop. I won't disclose its name out of respect / privacy.

    Your opinions would be much appreciated.

    That is waaay to much IMHO. I paid $400 for the PPI on my car, and that was a comprehensive review. Good luck, hope it checks out!

    That is a very high quote for a PPI... I worked for Ferrari for 11 years and I'm very familiar with the 360. I would not be able to give you an F1 gearbox/clutch wear printout but can complete a very thorough PPI and compression test for $400-500

    Depends on if the car is coming to the guy doing the PPI or if he is going to the car.

    Here at Ferrari of New England a PPI is only half of that price ...where your car will be thoroughly inspected by a factory certified technician including all of the electronic parameters and measurements.
