Nice ! which s/n have your car ? Mine is a GTB 1988 1/2 too, s/n 77915. Should be close to yours, I guess.
The front fender shields are already removed. The photo's were taken this summer short after the purchase of the car.

I will race you to that Finnish... If I dont find a nice GTB I may just buy a black GTS and paint the top in gloss black and fake it... Take off the side lovers and replace them with the GTB style.....Definitely getting the black one though....
Here are a few pictures of #71403 just before she headed west to her new owner. These have been posted in my "for sale" thread, but I figured more people would get to see them if they are here. Very nice. The car seems a bit high on its wheels :. There is a big clearance between the top of wheels and body, compared to other 328s, don't you think ? Surely good to avoid damaging the underbody of the car on difficult or bumpy roads.

Being the new owner, I think it is just a trick of the light. Car is black and the eyes dont see the gap at the top of the tires very well. Just measured it: The gap is only a hair more than 3 inches from top of tire to edge of wheel arch. The lowest edge of the chassis I can find is only about 4.5 inches off the ground. Plenty low in my book
Is that Jon's previous 328? What an incredible color and perfect interior. Blu Road, I agree with you on the 328's weight and beautiful lines.
I dropped some weight off of my GTB with a full Ohlins suspension built specifically for my car by their works engineer in Sweden and an exhaust/cat swap. Over 100 lbs in all by my scales. At some point, I might work on the headers which I think, if you delete the shields and have nice ceramic coated headers, might yield another 15 lbs or so. I have to say, since my car is more of a canyon carver, the weight change has made a ton of difference. I think that the power level really suits the car well now.
Yea I did the hyperflow cat on my previous 328 and it made a big diff in noticeable power that I could feel. Another thing you could do but it would be expensive is replace all of the door glass and rear glass with plexiglass. this would take out about 100lbs of High Center of Gravity weight out of the car. Would look cool too with some sliding windows like the race cars. Not going to effect value if you keep the old glass somewhere. I am doing this to my Fiat X/19. I have a target weight of 1700lbs for a 130 horse power street car with Full adjustable coil overs and running 400lbs springs... Sick little ride.... Should have it done by end of next summer. Tony I will have a 328 by this time Next year... Black of course...
