Well, perhaps we should all email him and let him know we are still here. I don't think he would mind...after all, he did email me an invitation to a party. So it must be ok to send unwanted/unwelcomed emails.
Alan (BigTex) told me about this thread earlier today. It is an incredible thread. In other news, I got this really cool Barbie Ferrari 355 Spider - Remote Control! From Alan earlier today for my 6 year old daughter! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Be sure to keep an eye on the headers, change the valve guides often.. And IF you have to borrow some tires, for goodness sake, return them the the right Shop!!! You followed all the Links in here, to his party pics?? That kind of thing can be a real career ender, in some trades. Thanks to you! I owe you for the party and the Valet Fee!!!! But you are okay, because I am GOOD for it (someday!! ) Dave Alvin at the Continental Club was really good, a rockin' good time. Glad you read this saga!!!
Yosemite Sam and Bugs Bunny are still floggin their example 'round the place, can't stop it to see!! Merry Christmas, Pete! My old Boxer slipped away..Newman's thread shows, it was a pretty rough example...
Thanks a lot Kevin. Thanks to you, no new underwear and socks for my kids. Good thing my wife only wears socks or she'd be out of luck too.
Was talking to another f-chatter a while ago and he said that Kevin reminds him of this guy. I guess he has caused a bit of mayhem for Karl! [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tZXM_g3mqew[/ame]
I am sure you had her in the shop many times, could not get it fixed, traded it in on a different model. The old adage is still true today: 'If it has tits or wheels, you'll have problems with it'. - It seems to me, if you have something to hide, or if you don't want people digging up on you, the LAST thing you do is threaten to sue right off the bat from the git-go, that sends all kinds of signals like 'Oh no I better stop this before word gets out about me, I better threaten to sue rather than work it out or come to some sort of an agreement'. If a guy in this position doesn't have this paltry of an amount in an account he can get to, to me, that in itself sends up a huge red flag. A 'financial advisor' that doesn't have $1500 in a checking account? REALLY?? 'Move money around'??? SUCCESSFUL financial 'managers' - ones still around today - they have money. Granted, not all of them are millionaires, some may make 'only' $75,000+, but to not have $1500 in even ONE account? That's simply not good 'management'. Something is not passing the smell test...
So has anyone gone down the really fun legal path or do I have another topic to add to the lunch conversation on Wednesday with my cousin who is a federal prosecutor in NC?
