Well no ****. It's newsworthy with celebrities and in Formula One where "personal problems" were a pretty big story this year...
Disagree. I think that it shows that Alonso is a lot more mentally tough than lots give him credit for to go to the trials and tribulations of a divorce yet perform like he did this season.
You are kidding right? You are assuming that he did not want the divorce and he might have been devasted. When actually, as the Spanish press has discussed ad nauseum, he was a lying prick that cheated on his wife more times than if you counted all the fingers and toes of most everyone on FChat. This divorce had nothing negative to do with his driving performance. He is an excellent driver, one of the best if NOT, the best. But then, that is Alonso, and why his nickname is Alonsohole. He is the prick he is accused of being. I wish he was still on the same team as the other prick, what's his name, Noblamilton. And not with Ferrari. Please not intended to be a comment personally to TifosiUSA, but this thread should not even exist in the F1 section. Probably best inthe FChat National Enquirer edition.

Well, after Steppneygate and Crashgate, if this is Alonso's "scandal" for the year, Ferrari can breathe a sigh of relief. (I can just picture the depositions. Alonso had no "involvement" in the marriage, he was just a witness. )
What? What happen? Well, that's life. We must move on. Goodluck to you Alonso for the next season. Sad to say, here in U.S. they still wont embrace F1. I know it sucks but I'm still hoping someday they will.
