The WSJ guy just doesn't cut it. He is trying to be cool about whether the FF is cool (whatever that means). With language like that, his column is more suitable for a blog lower than the likes of this one. Want more? The same column pronounced the 458 Spyder better looking than the Italia. Even allowing for tastes, this is just plain nuts.

As for the FF, it is IMO "handsome, interesting and projects a commanding presence." My words, cool or not.

I saw the FF today at a dealership in the Netherlands in three different colors. I'm totally baffled upon the beauty of the FF. It looks far, far, far better in the flesh than it does on the pictures. They started the FF which actually sounds as good as the 458 Italia if not better.

    Staggering car.

Ferrari has determined that there is a a good fit for this car with its 4 seats and luggage capacity in its model range. They didn't hold back on the "Ferrari" with the mechanicals. If someone handed me the keys to one with no strings, they better be prepared for a manly hug, because I think they are sweet.

    let's see ...

Another mindless criticism of the FF, a comment concerning obese women, and now ... a slight against homosexuals. All in the span of a few posts :) I think we all see where you're "coming from".

Well done, troll. Please leave now.

Show me one post where I've attacked another user. The definition of an attack would be something along the lines of insinuating that someone is a homosexual, you should be familiar with that sort of tactic.

PS, I know plenty about the hood, I just don't feel the need to talk like an uneducated moron.

I hope you enjoy this forum as it has so many great members who help one another anyway they can. With that said, please look at your posts and try to evaluate where this went wrong. The last thing needed is a new member who seems to be looking to offend. I am not trying to join in a fight so if this sounds offensive I apologize. I just hope you might drop the silly name calling, because the gentlemen with whom you have been conversing are really super people and I think you are burning bridges for no reason. :)

Just saw one in person or the first time. All the technology and performance aside, I can't get over the rear end. It looks great to me from all angles but the rear end. I can't get over that. Just my opinion

I just saw the one in the showroom on Park Ave. It's in blue with a light tan interior. While I'm nowhere near the Ferrari expert the rest of you are - my ambitions end at installing a Cosworth 2.3 I4 in a '91 MR2 Turbo - I can't understand how anyone can think this car isn't an esthetic hit, maybe even a masterpiece. Add the utility, the incredible all wheel drive tech, the discipline shown in the way they limit the 4WD, the option to play at least somewhat hard when mood and opportunity align, and that glorious, Margareth Madé of an NA V12, and I think we're looking at an historic, paradigm shifting design.

Late last night I happened by Ferrari of Long Island*. There was a gray FF in the lot behind the showroom. While the lighter color does show off the design's wonderful lines more, I think the car looks better in darker tones. Since good things also come in threes, I'll be seeing a black FF soon.

    * Happened by Ferrari of Long Island = I was within ten miles of the place. (15 miles for Miller up in CT . . .)
