My daughter came to me a few months ago and said that she wanted to know if Cars and Coffee could raise money to help of friend of hers that is in need. His name is Blake and he suffers from Friedreich's Ataxia. Friedreich's ataxia is an inherited disease that damages your nervous system. The damage affects your spinal cord and the nerves that control muscle movement in your arms and legs. Symptoms usually begin between the ages of 5 and 15. The main symptom is ataxia, which means trouble coordinating movements.

Blake will be in attendance on January 7th...He was not expected to live past the age of 10, recently he celebrated his 12th birthday. Come out and enjoy the great cars and the hot coffee...and give to the cause and help out a good kid.

    Thanks,

    Eric Maas

    Mr. Maas:

You and your family have been very generous to C&C and the car enthusiasts in this area.

It also sounds like you are teaching your daughter to give back, or pay ahead, as well.

    I commend you.

    Thank you and Merry Christmas.

Look, I have a big parking lot and i invite a bunch of great people to come show their cars once a month...It's everyone who donates to the different causes that truly deserve the credit---and all of the volunteers that dedicate themselves to this event...my employees do put their hearts into the event as well.

Let's give thanks and help those that need our help. Right?

And let's keep the shine on our cars and continue our passion for beautiful art---rolling art.

    E

I read my last post and felt horrible. I left out the most important person. I have a very wonderful daughter that does have an enormous heart. She is the one to be praised for her interest in helping a friend that is in need. It was her wish to help Blake by using cars and coffee and she needs to be given all of the credit. She volunteers her time on weekends at various charities and is always interested in others' needs before her own. She's the one. And she also loves driving the golf cart during Cars and Coffee---tell her hi and thank her when you see her.

    Thanks.

As for pictures, I'd like to see the British section (just concerned with AM's, Bentleys, and Rollers), Italian row, and maybe the Porsche section. Then, Park Place is supposedly bringing out an MP4-12C.

I'll do my best and have my iPhone handy to take some pics. I'll just take some general pics to show you what was there and detailed pics of anything out of the ordinary.

    Fixed it for ya! :D

Sure it's 8-12, but you gotta get there VERY early to get a decent parking place...and then many blow out by 10:30-11am.

I've never gotten there at 630. Depending on the turnout, 7-8 is normally good.

I took some on my phone. I'll post them by the end of the weekend. I didn't get to many good pics of the MP4-12C since the crowd was huge. It was a good turnout. I got there around 8 and there weren't many spots.
There was a Gallardo race car. It sounded really good and was really loud!
