    Hello All!

Does anyone out there have/know where there is a picture of Car #4 in race markings from the 1954 race? I have seen pics of the car post race but nothing taken during the race. I believe the car was:

    Ferrari 375MM #4 Drivers- Bonomi/Peyloubet (sn #0358AM)

I believe this same car raced in the 1953 race driven by Maglioli as car #12 so hopefully someone out there took a picture of it at the 1954 event.

    Thanks

These are pictures of the Phil hill car in 1953 (I think) It is the #4 car of the 1954 race that I have never seen pics of. I have since bought a model done by a British modeller of the car to complete my collection. He saw the car in an old mobil oil film of the race and built the model around that - good enough for me! Here is a pic of my collection on display!

    Cheers!

    DOH! DOH! DOH!

I have a black #2 Ferrari drive by the Marquis de Portago at that race as well and often wondered if it should have been red too as the cars look quite dark in the pics!

    Cheers and Happy New Year!

Yes, I have your pic too and I agree the red colour seems to be darker on this one...
