Nice trio there PSTexas, does the red beast have its own bay? Thats pretty cool if it does. Hows the new alpina?
I wish I had a completely separate bay for the 430. Then I wouldn't have to worry about anything near or around it. Floor looks great too. I did a similar job.
Nice garage PSTexas. Where are you in Southlake? I once visited and stayed in Southlake for almost two weeks. One of the weeks, I was living with Sean (TXesprit) close to Rob Lay. Love the Scud.
I actually live less than a mile away from him - we have gotten together for breakfast a time or two.
Nice - - - but the contents is in backwards (car in air, plane on ground) ------- a bit like "if your nose runs and your feet smell, you're built backwards" Cheers, Hank

I ran across this very fine magazine at the book store a couple of weeks ago... FINALLY, a magazine that guys can totally relate to...instead of "Better Homes & Gardens (or as call it: Better Homes & Garbage ). I hope it's not a repost. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Wife snapped a pic during a steering-rack boot R&R on New Year's day. SO damned nice to be working indoors (15F outside, 60F inside with the new radiant NG heater running) with tunes, lots of space, all my tools right there, and furry little buddies to keep me company. I love garage Also picked up this little honey with a "Super Coupon" at Harbor Freight for $129. Wider stance, 18" max lift height, and looks the business with some Gulf and Koni stickers. http://www.harborfreight.com/2-ton-lightweight-aluminum-racing-jack-with-rapid-pump-68051.html And yes, there's a jack stand under the frame Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks! I started with a blank sheet of paper 8 months ago, and other than a 10ft+ ceiling to allow a lift there's really nothing more I could ever hope for in a garage. '99 528i with the sport pac. Bought it when I moved from Germany to Houston in '05. It's an auto, the only non-manual car in our stable. I haven't been in or driven any other sedan that I like more than the E39 (S2 XJ6s are nice though), a true masterpiece of engineering, aesthetic purity and driving dynamics. Can be a b!tch to work on though... This summer I did the VANOS seal upgrade and new oil filter housing gasket. Complex, tightly packaged machine. Do you have an E39 also? prost!
Great setup! I remember that post now. Yes, I have a 540i 6 speed and just had a bunch of work done to it (Clutch, sport suspension, chain guides and so on) done. Definetly great cars when running right! I have since changed the wheels back to the factory 17'' BBS which are still awesome looking Image Unavailable, Please Login
When I first joined these forums, never did I expect to see such garages. Real people own these things! It's absolutely amazing to see. Garages with cars I have loved my whole life, and one person owns all of them! I hope none of you take these things for granted. If so, I'd be glad to take a couple
