Hope you don't mind, just have a few questions about my trip to Las Vegas in March.

Staying at the Wynn for 3 nights, 7th, 8th and 9th of April 2012.

Going to book dinner at Le Cirque on Sat 7th April around 7.30pm and then see the 10pm showing of O Cirque Du Soleil. Tickets prices for the show are:

    A $170.5 each
    B $143 each
    C $119.90 each
    D $198 each

I was just going to book two of the $198 tickets, but thought i would see if you guys think these are really worth the money over the others?

Also wanting to do a Helicopter tour over Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam on Monday the 9th and have found the below deal for $309 per person, which seems to be quite good. What do you guys think?

    Grand Celebration Tour
    What's Included:
Breathtaking views of the Grand Canyon.
Flight over and views of Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon
Landing at the bottom of Grand Canyon, 4,000 feet below the rim
Enjoy a champagne picnic & refreshments on the canyon floor
    Exploration time
EcoStar EC130 aircraft designed specifically for air tours.
    Multi-lingual narration
    Hotel to Hotel Transfers
The Grand Celebration is the crowning jewel in our selection of helicopter tours and easily the most popular. This helicopter tour provides stunning aerial views of Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, and of course Grand Canyon. Additionally, this tour lands at the bottom of the canyon on a private plateau overlooking the Colorado River. There guests enjoy a champagne picnic and refreshment while surrounded by the awe inspiring grandeur that is the Grand Canyon. It is truly an experience unlike any other!

Really appreciate any help or comments as i'm trying to get things booked up now for our 3 week trip around California and Las Vegas

    Cheers
    Chris

    Hey there

I found the show fascinating, even though I didn't think I would. When it comes to tickets prices, I guess it depends on how close you need to be. With a big production like o, I don't think it's really necessary to be front and centre, so tickets b or c may be good enough!

When it comes to the tour, I've done them a few times, and pricing wise, it sounds okay. As variations go, landing on the plateau overlooking the river will be lovely, so go for it. I found the version in the helicopter great, while a later one where we went by plane then landed and coached to a village and the skywalk I found a bit too long, we were out all day from a very early start, and also the airstrip we took off from was a long way from the hotel, so the day was tiring (and I had had my heart attack just before, so I was not totally fit)

Have fun and try not to worry aboutthe cost in Vegas, it's part of the fun....... And although everyone wants value, sometimes gong with the flow is the best way to enjoy it there. Don't forget to go to no doubts drift track for a session!

I saw it in the first row and you will get a little wet. The fun part is that the girls pop out of the water literally in your face at times. The bad part is that the view is somewhat flat because your eye is at the level of the floor.

My suggestion is a little farther back than the front row and a little higher.

Thanks for your comments. Now booked the helicopter tour (front seats an all). You are right, cost needs to go out of the window slightly in Vegas and just do things. although it seems i've applied this logic to our stay in LA, San Diego and San Fran too !!!

I went for the golden circle tickets in the end, so quite expensive, but it's my first Vegas show so thought it appropriate. We are in the front row of the Gold Circle so just behind the seats marked 'splash'.
