I'll be at Starbucks as usual except that I'll be driving the Race Sentra. Afterward I'll be going to Algar to pick-up parts and take another tour. BTW, does anyone know how to reassemble 308 distributors? :D

my rule is to not have too many parts left over once re-assembled - but that goes for german cars not sure about the italians !!

Left over parts come in handy. I save them in case I loose a part on a future project. :)

I'll be there. I'd be in for a drive or Algar trip afterwards too.

I'm in. I would be up for a trip to Algar too.

But in the Porsche. It flurried earlier this week and I would need scouting reports on the road salt distribution throughout the region before taking the Testarossa out...

Anyone up to the task :D

you aren't serious, are you. You think municipalities up our way salted for flurries? You truly are a sick individual. Thank god you are successful in business.... :)

Salt and sand on the roads down here and over in Delaware. The highway department guys wanted the overtime to pay down the credit cards after Christmas. :)

Don, I don't see anything in that photo we can't fabricate out of old lawn mower parts!

Shhh!...they are old lawn mower parts, but no Ferrari owner would admit it. :D

Seriously, they look like they came off of an aircraft engine; very heavy duty.

    Don,
I saw the receipt in the background. Is this Bob's car's distributer you are working on?

    What happened?

If you would have gone for a drive with us last Saturday instead of brainstorming how to erect an umbrella over all of Chester county you would know! ;)

Ah. but then you wouldn't be able to see my latest invention. I am working with NASA to develop a clear bra for THE UNDERSIDE of my car.

In the meantime, if any of you boys have any interest in coming over my place early to wrap the Testarossa in Cellophane, I'll take her to C&C

I was thinking the same thing. In 25 years, sooner or later, if the car has spent its whole life in this area, you've been caught out in something!

Well, in order to get caught in the rain or salt, you actually have to drive her.

In the last 10 years, she was driven around 2000 miles. The previous 15 years, she covered a whopping 9000 miles.

If you are only going to drive her around 400 miles A YEAR, I doubt you are waiting for the first rain storm to do it! Also, there is not a single acid rain etching in the paint.

I'm not saying she hasn't seen a puddle or two, but I doubt rain. Nonetheless, whatever her past may be, I can tell you what the next 25 years will look like. :D

Right now she is sitting fully detailed in a heated and humidity controlled garage with the battery disconnected and a full tank of stabilent/gas.

Now all you boys get out there and sweep that rock salt so I can wake her from her slumber. :D

They're Bob's dizzys. The PerTronix magnet wheel in one tossed a couple of magnets. They say the flames coming out of the exhaust pipes was quite spectacular, but I believe they're exaggerating. A new magnet wheel is on the way and while waiting I'm cleaning and lubricating them. I'll be able to call myself a Ferrari X-spurt. :D

i heard it snowed in Pittsburgh yesterday so, in Joe Zaff fashion, I have decided to walk to C&C tomorrow so as not to chance any salt drifting easterly. I should be there by next Saturday if I start walking now. Dave will be gone by then... no matter what time I show up

Good thinking, I didn't want to alarm anyone, but it could snow any day now, I'm getting my snow shoes on---just in case. I'll see you next Saturday. Maybe we can go for a nice winter walk :D
