i wouldn't think about moding a 3.0. i want one done stock, minus the thermal reactors (which idealy would be in a box and cone w/ the car).
i saw this one yesterday. i wish the pix were better so you can try to detemine the actiual condition. interesting no bids at $29k to start.

Doesn't surprise. I find that today's market is very selective and people will pay a fortune for a perfect car and largely ignore a car with needs.
Just wanted to note not all 87 Turbos had the ET high mounted 3rd brake light. When my Dad was choosing between two new 1987 911 Turbos at the dealer (black/black vs. black/red) both had their 3rd light mounted at the top of the back window same as on an 86. I've also seen other 87s and later with window mounted 3rd lights. Best regards, Dino
