oh no! i wish, my wife would kill me..I only bought 5 assorted boxes..The pictures were of the stand at costco..
You know, I never realized Costco carried cigars!! How were the prices? I was just there tonight too. I should have looked.
That's what I was thinking at first too. I didn't think anyone would buy that many cigars at once though!!
they usually do not, and maybe it depends on location...They have unusual boxes I never seen...Set of 8 different kinds in one box etc..Avg cigar is around $5 each...Outside they would of been at least double..I would say good deal and good Xmas gifts
I gotta tell you, I tried an order with Cigars International and am deeply disappointed with their customer service. I ordered a couple boxes, one was listed as in stock and the other was 7-10 days out. Two weeks later I still hadn't heard a thing from them so sent a note. By then the second box was listed as backordered. It took two tries to get them to tell me anything and then it was the line about ...cigars are a natural product and the nature of the .......blah, blah, blah.... So I asked why the first box hadn't shipped and they said it would ship the next day. I cancelled the other one and am still waiting a week later on the first one. Don't think I'll be going back there again!!
Well I would have expected at least a quick email if the one I had on order went from 7-10 days to indefinite. And no explanation at all why the other hadn't shipped?? I also ordered a lighter and some fluid and they shipped those right away. Who knows, maybe it was just bad luck. Maybe I'll give them another try sometime!?
Finally, I have my humidor up and running! I had to throw out the crap analog gauge that it came with and buy a digital one instead since I wasn't getting accurate readings. It seems to be consistently holding 67%. I need to stock it with more inventory
Geez, thanks for that. I've spent the last couple hours looking at different auctions and how they work. Ended up buying some Patel torpedos for a couple bucks apiece though. This is a pretty reliable place though right? Some of the deals seem almost too good to be true!?
....From cigar.com and Box Bedlam sale going on. Order two boxes of Man O War Puro Authentico for $36.00 each for the box of ten. KILLER DEAL!!!
I've "won" a few items already. They seem to be great to deal with. Just scored a 5 pack of Padron 1964's today for $75 with shipping. Not bad. I have noticed though that the picture doesn't always match the auction item. I should have my humidor all stocked up pretty quick here. Also got some sticks from another site on the way. It's gonna be fun going through all these!!
Good luck on your new humidor and stocking great cigars. The problem my friends and I have run into is what to do with that one box of cigars that have been aging 5 to 15 years? I mean, they smoke beautifully, but if you smoke them all, it's all gone! It's a true cigar dilemma.
Trying a new Alec Bradley later tonight. They released a line on 11/11/11 called Alec Bradley - Fine and Rare. Only 1,111 boxes of 10/each. Rare for AB, but to be honest never been a huge AB fan. Also, was lucky enough to score some of the new Fuente Opus X Forbidden that were just shipped to Fuente's top 25 retailers only in the country. Extremely rare and they come in boxes of 13 with a mostly black Opus X label. Through my local tobacconist, and much negotiation, I got half a box (6) of the larger size they had which is called Keeper of the Flame. Smoked one already and is amazing! Peppers and spice at first light but mellows and evens out to a wonderful finish. Highly recommend it if you can find one.
Today I'm smoking the Opus X 100th Anniversary. I don't know what the size is called. It is close to a toro size. Image Unavailable, Please Login
