    Ditto. More and more I just would want a done car- no time for projects.

    2600's are not roadburners but have charm and character to space.

    Yea, if it made Amelia it must be pretty good, but for that type of Money I would rather have a Maserati Mexico or a Rivolta GT, two other cars that competed for that market. The engines in the Maserati and Rivolta had 2-3 times the power of the Alfa.

    I drove one at Bobcor in NJ when it was for sale-very pretty car, but they understeer like crazy. Cruiser rather than fun in the twisties. I bought a Bertone GTV instead.

    Should have bought the Sprint Speciale though . . .

    Mexico and Rivolta were both V-8 cars...not quite contemporaries of the 2600. More likely the 3500 Maseratis and the Lancia Flaminias...which would still be at least double the asking price of this Sprint in comparable condition.

    I saw this car in person and it is very nice. I hope 67 alloy can get that other special 2600 Sprint finished someday. These are good looking cars but heavy compared to the little Alfa Giulia coupes that were patterned from this car by Giugiaro.
