    Asking if anyone has shipped a car across the nation. More specific to the subjet how much it cost and who does a really good job. I don't need covered or anything fancy its for a daily driver I just do not want the miles and stress to my car. I am moving the 21st of January to Little Rock for 9 months from Salt Lake City .     We always use Leroy at Custom Car Carriage. He has an office inside the Club Auto car museum. I have shipped a lot of cars and have learned not to trust any company from the east coast. Leroy has great prices and will do what he says he will do. If you want me to try and get the best price for you, let me know.

    I had a heck of a time finding a shipper to pick up my 355 in NC and bring it me in UT. I decided to go with enclosed, got it for .83 cents a mile. They are picking it up Thursday :)

    I originally tried uship and was bombarded with brokers making false claims. Be leary when they tell you that they can have your car picked up within 1 or 2 days. Most all the responses off of uship will only post your listing on the National Shipping Board and hope some carrier bids for it. This might work for a daily driver however when shipping exotics it's not the way I wanted it done.

    Mike i wanted to thank you for the information. Leroy got me all set up, great contact to have thank you. He sent me to a transporter based out of Idaho and it was by far the most affordable and he gave me really good advice! Thanks again!
