Hi: read your book, (LAMBORGHINI MIURA BIBLE) very informative. I must have most of the books published for that car. I bought my 1969 MIURA from a friend JOE NASTASI back in 1975, drove it briskly a couple years then garaged it for 30 years. Now I want to bring it back to life. Any suggestions to what I need and where to get them?
I haven't seen this image before. Sorry if it's a repost. How sad..... Mike Image Unavailable, Please Login

Pretty sure that the Miura in your pictures is post 8 and 9 in this thread. http://www.autopiaforums.com/forums/detailers-showcase/36780-buffest-2-0-some-most-valuable-collectible-rarest-automobiles-planet-polished.html
A beautiful example. Not sure car is as original and unrestored as claimed (suspension looks to have been redone at some point), but i hope he gets his price regardless.
Hello Reno, I have a suggestion for getting your Miura back to life. Here in Colorado is a renowned restoration shop that specialized in Pebble Beach cars, primarily Bugatti, Talbot-Lago, Delage, Delahaye, Voisin, etc. The shop is called High Mountain Classics and has been one of the premier restoration shops in the world for pre-war French cars and has had many Pebble Beach successes including a Best of Show with a Bugatti T57 Atlantic which subsequently sold for ~$32 million! I have been involved with the shop and am expanding it to include my passions, vintage Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Maseratis, and Lotuses....all cars that I am an expert, collector, and owner of. Attached is a picture of a 1952 Ferrari Grand Prix car that we almost have ready for the upcoming invitation-only Monaco Vintage GP this May for a customer in Switzerland. PM me or give me a call to discuss another option for you with this shop which does world-class work and provides customers a better value than other shops in higher rent areas. The web site is High Mountain Classics dot com, and I'd love to discuss this with you, as I would like to bring the recognition, respect, and values to our beloved Lambos that are enjoyed by the aforementioned marques that High Mountain Classics has built a reputation with. We plan to be a sponsor and advertise here too real soon! Does anyone know of a red Miura Jota/SVJ in the UK? I don't mean the ex-Shah of Iran car either. This red car was in a recent tv programme and the car was seen briefly several times. It seemed to have the recessed covered headlights, front wing vents and was possibly LHD looking at the windscreen wipers.
Hi, it was called The Pawn King but I'm not sure exactly when it was on. You can see it on 4Player during the first few minutes. Haven't watched it in full yet but it didn't show on any of the other parts I watched.
Maybe this one? http://www.classicandperformancecar.com/features/octane_features/233622/lamborghini_miura_jota.html
No, sorry, I should have mentioned it isn't that one (IOTA). I've seen that car a couple of times, it's amazing.
http://www.channel4.com/programmes/the-pawn-king/4od See above link to programme from about 0.07, 0.24 and 2.17. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=106152&highlight=miura+40th I think the car may be WRP 180H #4302 but it may not be a car that's been pawned as the programme may have just shown the storage centre where the pawn company store the cars. In fact in the link below it says that the car was in storage in 2003 so it may just be garaged in this storage centre that the pawn company uses. http://www.themiuraregister.com/miura/register.php?id=425
Yes, it could be 4302, it has the features as seen in the photos on the Miura Register. I believe the commentary said they were "his" cars. There was also a second Miura parked behind it.
I don't think all those cars can be pawned. I think one of them is an Alfa Tipo 33 Stradale? At which point of the film can the second Miura be seen, SAB?
Both cars can be seen briefly within the first few minutes. I haven't watched the rest completely yet.
I saw the car several times while in Aldo Cudone's collection. At that time it had a reprofiled tail section, much higher than standard which destroyed the proportions. The exhausts ran straight out the back and exited the rear valance between the taillights. Also had very wide Technomagnesio wheels(possibly 9's and 11's) with Pirelli P7's. The car was returned to a more standard configuration at Auto Sport in Bastiglia.
http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=106152&highlight=miura+40th Yes, we discussed the rear end on #4302 a few months back. It can be seen in the link above.
Ferruccio was smitten by his Miura too, and told of it in an 1988 interview with a French magazine Automobiles Classiques... Image Unavailable, Please Login
