Having purchased my first Ferrari (9700 miles) 3 weeks ago, and the mods started right away. Wanted to provide an update, since other mods were completed this past weekend. This car has the 3 primary features that I was looking for: spider, 6 speed (love it), and Silverstone (metallic grey) color. Also, the interior is dark bordeaux (red)
All the service requirements and campaigns were completed, clutch still has 60% left.

    Modifications completed in December:
    1. lowered the standard coilovers 3/4 inch; but the 430 still sat too high
    2. PUR wheels: 19 X 9 front (235/35/19 tires) and 20 X 13 rear (345/25/20 Nittos)
    3. smoked the signal, turn, and bumper lights
    4. Fabspeed carbon fiber air boxes and BMC air filters
    5. Fabspeed carbon fiber front bumper diffuser (center)
    6. Loyd's all weather mats
    7. tinted side windows
    8. Hill Engineering exhaust tip (covers), which fit perfect
    9. Valentine rader detector

    Mods completed this past weekend:

    10. Fabspeed headers
    11. H&R springs; lowered the car 1.2" front, 1" rear. Setup is improved over just lowering with the existing coilover setup, because stiffer
progressive springs and minimizes body roll and front end dip on the road bumps. Ride feels the same as stock to me.
    12. Installed Ferrari skid plates for front bumper protection without bumper removal. Used 3M double sided molding tape and covered the entire
bottom surface of each skid plate. Then I drilled through the holes in the skid plates, and through the underside of the bumper (with the
skid plates attached by the 3M tape). Finally I used a pop-rivets to apply final attachment security (worked great).
    13. Ricambi carbon fiber cup holder (replaces the ash tray), very cool
    14. Powder coat black the Ferrari rear engine hatch emblem
    15. Ricambi dead pedal cover, matches ferrari gas and clutch pedal styles

The car sits perfect now, great stance. The power increase with air boxes and headers is noticeable (25-30hp), and the engine note is louder and deeper (love it).

Looks very clean. I like the rims. You need to get a video posted of the F430 sound. I would love to hear yours!

I cannot lower it anymore, because I currently have about 25mm clearance (one inch) pulling in or out of the driveway (even when at a 90 degree angle). I do not want to damage the front bumper.

Very nice. I don't usually like after market wheels, but I really like your choice!

Looks great! I love my cf cupholder, you will love it too. The only cupholder I had was on my daughters Ferrari car seat. Let us know how the cf filter covers hold up, ie, yellowing, cracking.

Love the centre CF console, does it come with car.?

What you need next is aftermarket exhaust. :)

You are wise. Mine is lowered about 22mm and it is plenty low. I scrape the front bumper much, much more than with stock height.

The car is already plenty loud with the Fabspeed air boxes and headers. Withi an aftermarket exhaust it would be too loud for my preference.

The carbon fiber console is a factory option

I presume the Fabspeed headers have worked out cool and without any CEL issues?

Thanks for the compliment. This car is so intoxicating; I have had many models of sports cars, but this is my first Ferrari. Its the first car I ever owned that whenever the sun shines, I can't help myself; I have to drive it. Top down, magnificent ride, awesome sound; the total sports car experience.
