It really is. If you like individual options like that I suggest you ask your dealer to either give you or purchase a book called "Programma Allestimenti Speciali". It's silver/grey with a yellow stripe/ribbon. It's used as an inspirational book at the ateliers. It has 66 full color pages of things like leather on different parts of the steering wheel, 3-way stitching in the colors of Italy. Red CF, covers everything from exterior body panels to interior stitching. Cut it short; I love that book! Below are 2 pics I took with photobooth (which also inconveniently swaps the image around) to illustrate my point... Sorry about their awful quality. Wow that sounds exciting! I would love a tri-color pattern in the center of the seat. But, I can just imagine how much it will cost!
The way I like it. Let me know what you think. Personally, I like my tachometer in white, and especially the red-black combo CF racing seats. Those are to kill for. Is there a difference between racing seats and bucket seats? I always thought there were only normal and bucket seats. No, as far as I can recall, there has never been anything called "bucket seats". That's Porsche terminology. CF Racing seats have been the option of Ferrari. I think your car looks cool. But for my personally, the black/red combo looks a bit 'devilish', a bit Gumball 3000 if you know what I mean? I don't mean to offend you in any way, but it's just my taste. Secondly, having racing seats in a convertible is IMO a bit of a misfit. I remember trying a Cali with them and I couldn't see the point. They're to stiff and hard for the type of driving you normally apply to driving a convertible. Another thing is, they are barely adjustable. So you have to be at quite an exact hight and be of certain dimensions to fit them properly. At 186cm, I believe I am too tall for them, at least thats how I feel when I sit in the racing seats. They can only be adjusted forwards and backwards, and they really are seats for driving flat out. You can't "cruise" around, as their back is really stiff. My humble opinion
No worries, mate. Personally I have not sat in a racing seats before. The '06 F430 I have only comes with the normal seat. Have been a big fan of how the racing seats looks. Moreover, I would not buy the convertible version if I happen to upgrade. The place which I'm staying is WAYYYYY too hot. 30+ celcius all year long.
Just playing around, the calipers black and the tach white would look nice as well! It has green stitching if you can't tell! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

You press "close top", it's a pop-out on the left. Together with "view interior" and all the other menu's. Cool car, like the way you've let the 16M inspire you. Is it in Rosso Corsa? It looks a bit darker on my screen, like Rosso Barchetta/Maranello. Back to your configuration, those black seats have got to go. Like "bdelp" said, it's a toaster oven on a sunny day.
Russel, I didn't know the F430 have optional side skirting. Do you happen to have the link where I can order it? Absolutely love it.
Factory option, I'm sure you can order it from your local F car dealer but Ferrari do love to charge. Not sure if any of the aftermarket guys do a version.
A little color adjustment and black wrapped roof! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Well done. Just had this exact conversation with my dealer as I specced out my Spider......about someone wrapping the roof.
Rear butresses seem a little distracting in body color with the top down. The black visually lowers and lengthens the car IMHO. Image Unavailable, Please Login
That 16m is the best spider I have seen and as I have said I am not a spider person. Why would you swap that for a car where they can't get the buttress 's to line up with the seats and you loose the view of the engine?
This doesn't do it for me. It reminds me of fake Landau tops on 70's Cadillacs. It's a hard top convertible. Trying to make it look like something it isn't just seems phoney to me.
