    I said highlights.
The SLS was pretty cool though.

Ha! :D Anybody else notice how dusty the cars were? I imagine it's hard to keep up with that there.

Thanks for the video. That was the first FF and Aperta I've seen in person and they both looked good. I'm glad that Harris Imports takes the time to bring some of their great cars to the show. And sorry Sean for not picking up my tickets, I stopped by the dealership around 3:45 but it was locked up. I was hoping Toyota/Subaru would have their new rwd sports coupe there but they didn't. Also no Porsche this year but Mercedes was back after a 2-3 year absence.

I don't remember the last time Porsche was at the show. Someone kick Strong and Garff in the nuts and get their acts together.

Glad you liked the video! I for one have seen the FT-86 Concept in person and was very disappointed of the release of the SCION / Subaru. Strong Porsche needs to contact owners to bring down the GT! I for one would love to put that on display if I owned it

Last time I saw them at the show, some woman was changing her child's diaper across the back seat of the Cayenne!

    No Lie!!!

Also, why show a car that looks the same as last years model and the one before that and the one before that and the one before that.... ;)

P.S. Thanks to the boys at Steve Harris for the passes and giving everyone a reason to actually come to the show and see something unique!

    Cheers!

Speaking of squashed beetles, Magnus Racing based out of Salt Lake City will be racing the Rolex 24 this weekend, they will have a live videocast here: http://www.magnusracing.com/daytona-live-webcast/
Keep an eye on them and root them on (as long as there isn't a Ferrari in front of them :) )
It will also be interesting to see how Pastrana does in a 458, and of course McDreamy's team is a strong contender.

I think this will be his first major road racing event. He will be in the #56 Ferrari 458. The Speed channel will be broadcasting a lot of the daylight hours and have live streaming online at night.

Just heard that Dick Losee passed away. Utah and the Ferrari community have lost a great man. RIP Dick.

Ok, guys. I know this isn't Ferrari related. BUT.. it does involve alot of HP, so I thought you might be interested.

I have a 2010 Camaro that I've had for about a year and a half.. bought it new. And have enjoyed driving it.. but just lacked that "kick in the pants" that it should have.

So, last October I sent it down to a friend of mine in Houston that has a speed shop.

    Here's the initial build list:

    Chaos F1R Package Stroker Package:

Use existing LS3 as core. Stroke motor to 429 cubic inch, 9.8:1 compression ratio
    Callies Compstar crank
    Callies Compstar rods
Diamond Pistons for forced induction applications
ACL/FM Rod, main, and cam bearings
    Rear main seal
    Rear cover gasket
    Oil pan gasket
    Valley cover gasket

    Cylinder Heads:
    Port existing cylinder heads
    Upgrade valves
    Head gaskets
    ARP 12 pt. head studs
    Morel lifters
Billet EnglandGreen Chaos 429ci F1R valve covers
Coil pack relocation and coil covers

    Exhaust System:
Complete American Racing header system from engine to tips (with high flow cats), all stainless steel
    Electric cutout system

    Cam Package/Valvetrain:
    High flow/High volume oil pump
    160 degree thermostat
7.4 chromemoly hardened pushrods (upgrade to 3/8")
    ATI SFI Balancer
Patriot Extreme dual valve springs with titanium retainers
    Front cover gasket
    Front cover seal
    Oil pick up o-ring
    Katech C5-R timing chain
Water pump gaskets EnglandGreen Chaos II camshaft ARP 12pt. Balancer bolt
    ARP cam bolt kit
    Cam sprocket
    Yella Terra LS3 rocker arms

    Induction System:
FAST 102 mm intake manifold for LS3 Powdercoat FAST to match customer car
    FAST intake manifold port seals
    V-Max ported LS3 (2010+) throttle body

    Procharger System:
Procharger F1R Race Supercharger System Upgraded 1300HP intercooler
    Polished supercharger head unit
    Polished supercharger brackets

    Fuel System:
    Custom EnglandGreen 1300HP fuel system

    Drivetrain:
McLeod RXT Twin Clutch GM Slave cylinder Remote bleeder
    Pilot bearing
    Flywheel bolts
DSS 2010 Camaro 1000HP Level 5 rear axles
    RPM 3.91 ratio differential

    Additional Items:
Dual nozzle Alky Control methanol kit
Tech AFZ Camaro heater hose relocation
    Fluids
Break in miles on new motor, clutch, gears before final tuning
EnglandGreen Custom Street and Dyno tuning

Since the initial build, I've added nitrous system, full suspension upgrades (new coil overs etc, etc)

So after about 3 months, we finally have the engine back together and in the car. He sent me this video yesterday of the first start up.

The goal is 900 HP at the wheels. :)

What that looks impressive. It will be interesting to see what kind of 1/4 mile times it will do. And you didn't even have to pay a gas guzzler tax :)
