I was talking about an accident that left some serious damage to the car. Examples being frame damage or rear end collisions where the engine/transmission was hit. Of course I wouldn't say a car with front end curb rash is storied, you should see my 430, it looks like someone took a cheese grater to it. Cosmetic issues are just cosmetic. Almost all the things you listed were referring to the cosmetic damage. And I 100% agree with you, if that were the case all cars would be storied.

In regards to paintwork, I don't consider that 'storied' unless a part of the car was in an accident, repaired, not replaced, and then repainted. I don't want some bumper put back together with epoxy on my car. I don't even care about factory replacement parts, unless its to hide an accident. Even then as long as it were ok I would buy the car. A storied car wouldnt bother me, as long as I knew what the story was.

This is one of those topics that's much easier to discuss in person. :)

Howdy FChat. I am looking to trade my 2007 430 Spider for a red CS with factory stripe. I love the 430, but there's something about the red with stripe...

I am already talking with Doug at Switchcars about ZFFDU57A040137352 and I note a lot of traffic in this thread about this particular car. If anyone has thoughts about the car or doing business with Doug (seems like a straight up guy), please PM.

If you aware of any other clean cars that might suit, please let me know.

    Thanks.

    Steve

That CS is really nice. I like the interior color. I hope it is what you are looking for and you can get a good deal on it!

I've decided to offer up my CS for sale. Listed in the FerrariAds section. Thinking of moving on to a P Turbo S, a MB SLS, or a 599. Other option is to buy another vintage Ferrari...I already own a lovely 330 GTC. I've owned the CS for 3 years (7K miles and counting) and the rawness is starting to get to me a little bit now that I'm over 50. I like driving my toys and this car is definitely a hot rod. I'm just ready to move on to something a little more refined, I guess.

    So--back on topic..
Where do you guys see the market today for the C/S?
What are your feelings(I have read the post on Scud vs CS) on the Scud?
Do you think the Scud is going to keep falling and the CS able to hold...

I have been thinking about going to a Scud vs my C/S as the power it quite nice. The Scud also is easier to take for general driving..Would enjoy getting feedback.

I know of a Rosso Corsa, factory stripe CS with Fulton County tags. Wondering if the owner is a fellow FChatter? It was a beautiful car.

That's funny. The owner was a younger man with a beautiful young model of a girlfriend/wife.

Shame he's not on here. It really was a fantastic looking car. I wanted to talk to him about it, but he seemed busy at the moment.
