I just replaced the F1 pump in the 360..

now it commonly will drop into neutral while driving.. last clutch estimate from dealership stated 36-40% remaining clutch.. there is not much clutch slippage while driving, also the car only goes to neutral when it shifts.. it never drops out of gear.. my questions are:

    1) is this a clutch wear issue?
    2) what else could this be? now that the new pump is installed this is a real problem from the get go..

I also had the exact same issue with my car , when I would shift thru the gears , the gearbox kept finding neutral instead of the next higher gear , I needed a new clutch , the car only had 6000 miles on her ? I have not had any issues since .

The common problems that cause this are a faulty engine lid contact switch, failing clutch position sensor and worn clutch. Just out of curiosity, are you confident that the F1 hydraulic system was bled out correctly and what led you to replace the pump, was the F1 system acting up prior?

The F1 pump failed all of a sudden and the car would not shift at all.. I replaced the F1 pump last week and immediately had this falling out of gear problem.. last time the clutch was checked it had over 35% left about 500 miles ago

They rebooted the system and they are saying problem seems to be gone.. the car has (on the computer 25% clutch life left) which to me means it has about 40% since the computers on the old ECU modena's are always wrong.

I had this problem and the solution was to change the hydrolic fluid and bled the system. Your problem is you may havew air in the system causing the problem
