Sorry to hear about the mishap, good to hear you're ok and I hope you don't run into too many troubles with the insurance.

Fixable? Maybe but would not count on that to be economically very viable, there is likely a lot of damage that doesn't show right away.

Actually no one saw the accident and there were no cars on I-85 at the time, from the damage I calculated just on body panels and suspension is somewhere around $76k the whole undercarriage went over those 12" granite stones. We'll see. I appreciate the kind words. I'm looking for another as well just in case, or 575

John, glad you're ok. Do please share the VIN. If the car does get salvaged, it'll be easier for others to track its history and not end up being taken advantage of by shady resellers.

God had his hand out watching you. So glad you are ok and no one was seriously injured.

I, too, fell asleep at the wheel once. Harrowing experience.

    1. Glad you are okay. Car can always be replaced.
    2. Friendly advice: don't post anything insurance related on a public forum until the case is resolved. A friend works for a large insurance company and they actively search the public car forums.

John- You were fortunate she stayed upright. Looks like we have someone else looking for a new Maranello.

Hopefully you heal quickly. Lucky there was no other traffic, but if there had been, you might have stayed awake.

Was the broken wheel aluminum or magnesium? The force must have been tremendous, but it's still striking how the spokes tore off the rim.

I have the Dust car cover in Bag, the tire inflation kit and the leather case with all manuals yet no flashlight. Just if anyone is interested. The car is a total loss.

PM me if you don't mind

Ok, here is the serial # ZFFZS49A510123283 on my totaled car.

I also have a full set of the upgraded rotors with 5k miles that never made it to the vehicle.
    (2 front-2rear) $210 shipped for all 4

What am I going to do with them?? They don't fit the '04 E55 I bought, still looking for a 550 or 575.

PS-Already sold the dust cover in the bag.
