I haven't seen he docs that confirm that yet. But it seems in line with what Lamborghini did in the era.
We were talking about the Alain Delon film La Prima Notte Di Quiete recently and I know some extracts of the film La Lecon Particuliere have been posted before but just wanted to let you know of the connection as the star of this film is Alain's first wife, Nathalie Delon. I wonder if Alain Delon was the owner of the SV in La Prima Notte Di Quiete as I read somewhere that he produced the film? Sorry for my thinking out loud. It says in the article in the link below that the Miura in 'The italian Job' was driven on test plates in the film and sold as 'new' after. Also says the car that went over the side had been in an accident that had killed its Arab Prince owner. http://jalopnik.com/5542691/in-1970-the-lamborghini-miura-was-a-movie-star
The cars were purchased from an Italian dealer who sent them to the factory to be converted to RHD and then they came to Australia. My ex fiancé's father purchased and imported them.
Thanks for your clarification. Did your ex fiance's father buy them for himself or was he a dealer who bought them to sell on?
The #5036 SV ,was the first Miura i saw in the Flesh when it was owned by its first owner many years ago in Australia in the 1980`s , I got to see this car numerous times After the first owner passed the away the car was sold and underwent some restoration , mainly to make the car roady worthy for resale . The last time i saw this car was in 2007 at the Suncoast Rally in Noosa QLD Australia , I have attached a image of the car http://www.flickr.com/photos/mparkinson/738705621/
He bought two at the time. One for him and the other for his friend Neville Smith who sold it to Jerry Kent in Queensland. Neither were dealers. Jerry who passed away was not the first owner "LP400 Targa" (John?)

Gary B. came to look at the car almost exactly a year ago. Gary could chime in, but we concluded that potentially the car could have been in an fender/bender sometime in the 1970s and someone may have modified the original hood to look like the SV. If you look at the underneath of the hood, there have been some bracing modifications and a few pieces are not original. Regardless, whoever did the work, and for whatever reason, did a very good job. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
The rev clock appears to be stuck on this one. Great sounds. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f4Pw0iksg7g&feature=results_main&playnext=1&list=PL29DC37C8B52AAB00[/ame]
Can anyone resolve various pieces of information on 4858? Is it RHD? ILR says it is. This would make it the first RHD SV, but the numbering is inconsistent with the other RHD SVs. lp112.com shows a picture of a LHD car. Has it been destroyed? themiuraregister.com says it has
Wow! I'm just a neo fight about these cars, but someone needs a whipping for putting that radio in the car like that !
