    i have a bunch of stories looking at these (flying all over the country). I'm at the point just hanging on to my 79 and hope a 3.0 majically falls into my lap for a decent price.

    BTW on a related topic, BJ sold this week a 87 46k mile white/red georgeous 930 for $38.5 (incl buyer premium). i thought that was very low for that car.

    I think if you keep looking something will come up that ticks all the right boxes as there will still be deals on good 3.0 cars for a while. That picture is changing though.

    Here is one that sold in Ontario not too long ago for circa $30k..

    It might be. If it mentioned anything about being located in Massachusetts, then its the same car. Under most circumstances it wouldn't be my first choice of colors, but it does work nicely on that car.

    Look at the trim fade difference in an original car sold by Ooley & Blackburn (who incidentally own one of the USA prototypes). Unusual color, and P7s still in evidence.

    It could be the same color, but its a color that varies a lot with lighting. In post #205 the 1st photo under the rear spoiler the color looks closer Ron Kimball's photo, but in the last photo in direct sunlight the color appears more red. Very cool car, but I prefer the standard black Fuchs rather than polished.
