Apparently someone was going 104 mph during the morning rush hour and caught the attention of a local girl. Sadly it wasn't me, but this posted in the 'missed connections' section of Charleston craigslist yesterday.

    http://charleston.craigslist.org/mis/2803992732.html

"You were in the red Ferrari
We hit 104mph and I'd like to go that fast w you
You were cute when we waved
Tell me what kind of car I was in so I know it was you"

I really feel like a Hedges Wealth Management reference should go here, but I'll let it pass this time.

You have to have gas money to get to 104...

I was out on monday.. but I was just tooling around.. nowhere near triple digits...

Might be who owns the red 348 in town...?

Now that you've introduced me to this part of craigslist James I'm going to have to use it.. : " I saw you on the cover of this vinyl thing that rotated and played music.. if you and your blue suede shoes are out there Elvis.. call me.. " ;-)

As I was walking across the gangway this morning one of my engineers mentioned it to me. At first I thought he was pulling my leg, but he insisted I check out missed connections for the ad. Low and behold he was telling the truth....

At 104 I'd still be on the on ramp.

You guys don't check out the Missed Connections on CL? They are hilarious. I was dating a girl for a while and some guy posted about her on there and I gave her the hardest time. Also, we know it couldn't have been James in his Ferrari, the girl said "you were cute" so that eliminates him off the rip.

Doubt it was a police sting - unless it was a very cute cop. Well, we hope she was cute.

It IS craigslist. Can a woman be "cute" if she's missing up to 2 teeth.. but has a tramp-stamp in the right place? ;-)
